Dystopian tale of post catastrophe society
The world has suffered catastrophic issues. This short story encapsulates the society that remains in a short tale of society in Denver. The Guild rules the area and all must pay their portion to the guild. Some wish the guild to fall and democracy and capitalism to return. What will they do to make that happen? To what lengths will they go? Our MC finds himself an unwilling pawn in this play for power and neither his world or the one around him will be the same for it. Good Short that would make a great series.
Would you listen to Guild again? Why?
Probably will. It is a short story but I would love to hear more detail of what happened leading up to the 'Guild' being in charge.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Guild?
Spoiler: I wont go into detail, but how the end result of the meeting with the Guild.
What about Christopher Gallegos’s performance did you like?
Easy listen.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Moved me but not in a happy way...how the lead character was taken advantage of.
