This book is a great resource

The book itself is really appealing to look at with cute illustrations and it's nicely laid out. It is meant to be used, not just read, so some people (like me) who like to take notes and actually fill out the worksheets, may prefer to get a hard copy rather than.

Detailed and Put Together Really Well

I haven’t gone through the book yet with my 8.5yo, but just by perusing it myself, I know that she will enjoying working on it with me. I like the different activities in the book as well as the illustrations. My daughter loves to read, and I think the book is detailed enough that it isn’t a “baby” book but still won’t go over her head and be difficult to understand. And to be quite honest, I can think of a few adults who could benefit from this book, myself included.

Clear, easy to use book for kids!

This book is great! Well designed visually with good illustrations and easy to use activities. The progression of skills made sense and built on each other. Examples were appropriate for each concept. A younger child could use the book with an adult, while an older child could do much of it independently.

Encourage Healthy Self-Esteem

When a specific problem presents itself, such as personal boundaries or making friends, this book has ideas and exercises to support approaching and working through the problem. I’m super grateful, as not many real, on their level books like this exist for kids. Filling a void I felt was there!

A new tool for the toolbox!

After working with kids and adolescents for quite some time, I find it challenging to find worksheets and workbooks that would ever grab their attention. However, this book has so many fun, engaging activities and exercises to follow that, to me, feel authentic and attuning to the population I work with. Whether you’re using the workbook for the physical worksheets, or adapting the ideas to an individual or group exercise, the possibilities feel endless.

The author's soothing writing style is so disarming that one can easily read a paragraph or two and drift into a soothing, healing meditation session. I am so grateful to have encountered this book and trust it lead many folks into a fulfilling lifestyle filled with the healing power of meditation practice... Wonderful Mindful Activities for All Ages

This book addresses the science, the how to, and the what ifs of introducing mindfulness to children. As a teacher, I have been able to incorporate many mindful activities into instructional time with ease. My students have a new curiosity about the present and understand the benefits of mindfully breathing. Some are even cultivating an awareness of mindful interactions with others.

Quite a resource!

I also was glad to see some ideas that we already use without even thinking of them as "practicing mindfulness" and I feel like that is a good goal-to incorporate these activities and make them a solid part of our lives so that mindfulness is just part of what we do and who we are. This book has been a help already and I know that as we move into it more and my children get older, more ideas will be utilized-nice to have a resource that you can grow with!

So many ideas in one place

I am trying to introduce mindfulness to my kiddos (and to learn it myself), and this collection is a gem. I love the variety of ideas for quick and easy mindfulness experiences. I also like the fun little names for the games. It makes them easy to explain and to recall. I would really like to have this book in print to thumb through (sensory, anyone?) and keep in my reference collection

Guided Meditations for Kids

The book is organized so you can find what you're looking for easily and I definitely appreciate that. I am new to mindfulness and loved Glenn Olsen-Kerr comprehensive Frequently Asked Awesome Questions at the beginning of the Book. I spent several years teaching kindergarten and wish I would have had this book back then!

Good for all ages.

Teaching out 2 yr old how to meditate and this is a good start. I use the photos and let her select a pose and then go from there. It is more of a 10 and up reader, but a good guide for parents to read and convey messages to younger children.
