Excellent for Anxiety Disorder and depression

These medications have made a big difference for me . I am a stage 4 cancer patient who has developed Anxiety Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder due to my disease and I use many different guided meditations, but come back to these recordings several times a week. Each meditation is a tool for a different purpose. The first meditation brings me out of the deepest anxiety attacks every time. It simply walks you through from panic to calm one step at a time. It makes that promise at the beginning and really delivers. The other three are great for concentrating on forgiveness/compassion, being right here right now and becoming intune with your body, respectively. These meditations are longer than many other guided meditations and really give time for you to breathe and concentrate on the directions before moving on so you don't have to pause it. The only thing that I would change is the fact that they used the same background sounds for all 4 meditations. Although soothing, it is very repetitive and I am not sure why they would not have put more effort into that when obviously a lot of thought went into the spoken content. Titles to explain what to use esch of them for would also be helpful. It still isn't enough for me to take away stars though, these recordings are really that good. A real life saver for me.

Fake reviews???

I purchased this to help with my bedtime anxiety. the ratings are what convinced me to buy it. I listened to it and it was terrible. are the reviews fake? I just can't understand why anyone would find this helpful for their anxiety and/or panic attacks. Try the DARE book by Barry McDonagh instead!

This book really helps

This book really helps me and some of my closest friends. It reminds you that you have to take things one day at a time and how important it is to work on the small/simple things first and not to try to take on the whole world at once.

Poor

Narrator's voice is unsuitable. First meditation is okay but the others do not address the subject at all. Number 4 advises only to watch one's breath and all lack guidance beyond the first 15 minutes and use a common backing track. Not value for money. Sorry.

help falling asleep

It put me to sleep and I have never heard the last half of the thing. I did not need help falling asleep. I needed help with dealing with a traumatic experience I had.

easy to follow

Guided meditation is a good way to end a busy day, or start a busy day with a mindset of peace; this is the first meditation video I have followed and I found it an uncomplicated, pleasant experience, easy to follow for beginners.
