Great Guide!

This audiobook got me to thinking why wait for someone else when I can go enjoy on my own instead? It helped me realize that my own doubts and worries were the only things preventing me from traveling and exploring. It gave me useful advice for organizing a secure and pleasurable solo trip, gently guided me through techniques for getting over my fears. I really valued the focus on readiness and security. It's the perfect companion for anyone seeking independence and adventure.

Insightful, Practical, & Inspirational!

Update: Read this book and less than a month later, I was able to put it into practice on my recent trip to Bulgaria. My travel partner ended up getting sick, but I didn’t want that to ruin or change my plans for the day, so I just kept thinking of all the reasons from this book of why I should go on the day trip we had initially planned and kept in mind the safety tips and self talk mantras. I did a day trip to Plovdiv, one of the oldest cities in Europe, and I am so glad that I did! Thank you for inspiring me to travel solo!!

Initial Review: As a woman who loves to travel, this book addresses numerous concerns and navigates fears about traveling solo while also instilling confidence and independence through positive affirmations and practical insight. Kat Harris is a seasoned traveler who shares her experiences and what she’s learned in a light-hearted, easy to read way. This would make the perfect gift for any female wanting to get out of her comfort zone and explore, but may need a little encouragement or nudge in the right direction!
