Publisher's summary

Aisling Grimlock is living a charmed life...kind of.

Things are going well for Michigan's favorite grim reaper, though. She's moving in with her boyfriend Griffin Taylor, her best friend Jerry is doing his best not to melt down and her back-from-the-dead mother doesn't appear to be munching on the unsuspecting populace. Er, well, maybe.

All of that changes when another reaping family goes missing and Aisling and her merry band of family and friends are tossed into the middle of a mystery that will have long-lasting repercussions.

When one member of the reaping family shows up hurt and needing help, Aisling makes it her mission to discover what happened to the girl's family even as she tries to keep the people she loves most safe.

In the end, Aisling will uncover a dark secret...and it may lead back to her own family thanks to her mother's unwholesome escapades.

Will Aisling survive to protect those she loves most? Or will she fall prey to an enemy she never saw coming?

Too much drinking for my taste, but; still ...

A nice read (listen). I have foundz, only two grammatical errors and three - four other types of errors.
Nice coherent series.

Grimlocks are back!!!

Grimlock stories should be read in order.

This is my favorite series. It makes me smile and laugh out loud. It is a story of a dysfunctional, zany, complicated family that works together and collect the souls of the dead.
Aisling Grimlock and the family are back. Family includes the most colorful character, Jerry; the gay BFF of Aisling’s. He is having a crisis because Griffin are Aisling have move into the townhouse next door and Aisling needs to buy cooking utensils.

There are the appearances of the usual characters Mother Grimlock, Angelina, and wraiths.
The male Grimlocks still cannot stand displays of affection between our lovers. If makes the Grimlock males cringe because Aisling is still looked as their baby sister and the and the youngest child, not the woman she has become.

Dad Grimlock is still grounding Aisling while trying to keep his family safe. They reminiscence the fun times like playing sock hockey as kids. It is through those stories we fall in love with the Grimlocks; the boys who could not play soccer because they wanted to butt the head of the players instead of the ball; Aisling who could not play team sports because she did not like to lose.

A family of soul collectors is missing and the Grimlocks are covering for them. When Aisling makes a discovery about the missing family, the Grimlocks are forced to find out what happen to them. To give Griffin peace of mind, he tags alone on some of the searches to keep Aisling safe. FYI she has become competent in killing wraiths.

All the snark and family insults that we love are still our story. So curl up and enjoy this new installment.

Another Screwball Grimlock Tale!

I will miss The Grimlocks. As per Ms. Lee's newsletter she will only be adding novelas to her Grimlock series, occasionally. Personally, it's my favorite series she writes. It makes me smile and laugh out loud when I'm shopping, cleaning, cooking, walking the dog or just driving. It's not sexy, it's family, a functional , dysfunctional , zany, complicated family that works together. If you enjoyed the previous books, you will love this one just as much or more.
IT IS JUST PLAIN FUN!!!

Not let down

I enjoyed this book as the other 4. Keep in mind that it is told from a young 20 year old.

Love This Series

I love this series. It's funny and quirky. The verbal sparing between the characters is always fun. The drama and mystery is light but very entertaining. I read the Kindle version but was happy to listen to this version over the weekend. I enjoyed both.
