Alone in an apartment in New York City, a frightened young woman is packing her bags in a hurry. She then heads straight for her car parked around the corner. Good but Confusing

Similar to the previous books, this one continues Archer's story but with a significant twist. overall I liked it, but my two complaints were (minor spoilers):

1. it was too confusing. Trying to keep track of the characters, who was who, and who was with what group. towards the end it is explained but for two-thirds of the book i couldnt keep track
2. Vargus is no longer an independent character and has become a continuous damsel in distress. She can never seem to handle situations and always needs to be rescued. I like when she was that tough cop who seemed like she would be Archer's equal

Music

While I really enjoy Tom Barber stories I will not buy any more of his books. The music is so annoying
