Audio quality a let-down

Though I'm a fan of these authors, the quality of this audiobook is below Audible's normal high standards. I'd recommend choosing another book. Audible, you might consider removing it from your line-up (or at least seeing to the audio quality).

Waste of a credit!!

I could not understand the last story because it was taped so quietly and was very muffled sounding. I tried deleting it and downloading it again, but nothing worked. Carol Higgins Clark read her own story and still could not make it interesting. She definitely does not have the talent of her mother!

Poor audio quality

I was very disappointed as this audiobook was unlistenable. The sound quality is terrible. Preview before you buy.

terrible audio spoiled the stories for me

unfortunately, the audio quality on this book was so bad that it spoiled the short stories from some of my favorite authors. I couldn't hear the narration half the time, even when I turned the volume to max. at first I thought it might be my phone that was the problem, but playing it on other devices, I had the exact same problem. please fix this so that other people don't suffer the same.

Worst Audio Ever!

It’s hard to rate because the audio was so bad you couldn’t even hear the last story most of the time. The first story with Elliot Gould narrating had low static throughout and was a monotone performance. The only story with decent audio, performance and content was Dean Koontz’s. How did they release this without editing? How did Audible release and charge anything for it. By far worst experience for an audiobook ever.

Poor Audio Quality

While I enjoyed most of the stories, the audio made it hard to listen to. Level and EQ of the audio was inconsistent. The final story is muted with too much low end. It is unlistenable. I tried adjustive the EQ and the volume but was still unable to listen and understand the performance.

The audio on this book is horrible! You cannot understand what is being said. This book needs to be updated.
