Many horse trainers, even those who espouse the so-called natural horsemanship approach, take the position that horses who fail to obey a human's request are doing so as much out of perversity as ignorance. That's not Mark Rashid's view. In his words, "If we understand that horses can't separate the way they feel from the way they act, then we can start to see that unwanted behavior isn't bad behavior at all. More times than not, it's just the horse expressing the way he feels at that particular moment in time....

a very fun book
This is actually a very fun book, and a very fun series to follow. I've been following this series for a while, and have read all the previous books in the series. Every book is a bit different, and each of them kept me quite educated and entertained. For anyone who's new to this series, you got to find the PDF along with the audiobook. Otherwise if you jsut listen to the audios, you're missing a big chunk of the fun part of this series. Overall I still highly recommend this series, particularly this book. All pups are looking aawesome. Learning their rich histories is always a fun thing to do for a sunny and quiet afternoon.

Great Intro Book for Learning the Pups
Rich Content: The book delves into the origins and stories behind each breed, providing readers with a deeper understanding of their development and purpose. This historical perspective goes beyond simple breed descriptions, offering a more well-rounded appreciation for our canine companions.
Unique Visual Appeal: The photographs themselves deserve mention. Showcasing dogs in "vintage Victorian aesthetics" adds a whimsical touch and a sense of timeless elegance. Imagine a dignified Basset Hound adorned in a dapper top hat or a Poodle's elaborate curls accented with a Victorian bow. Overall, "Delve into the Regal Realm of Dog Breeds" is a treasure trove for dog lovers who appreciate both history and a touch of whimsy. The combination of informative text and captivating Victorian-inspired photographs promises a unique and delightful exploration of the canine world. Would buy it again in a heart beat.

A Comprehensive Guide to Dog Breeds
This book is an indispensable treasure trove of facts of many different breeds of dogs. I loved it for the history but I think others will enjoy the artistic side of this unique dog book. It's great for seasoned dog enthusiasts and newcomers to the world of canine companionship. This comprehensive guide beautifully captures the essence of over 200 dog breeds, offering stunning descriptions that delve into each breed's history and characteristics. Some cheesy humour helps set the nice pace and keep you on your leash. The narrator was great too!

One of the most fun series I've come across
I have had the pleasure of listening to all the previous books in this series an it is always such a great way to relax and look at cute dog pictures dressed in elegant outfits while also learning about different dogs breeds! It comes with an accompanying PDF with full color pictures that the listener can enjoy alongside the audiobook. Highly recommended for dog lovers and people who are looking for something a little less serious to wind down to!

Great addition to the Puppy series
I have listened to other two audiobooks of this series, Royal Puppy and Noble Puppy. And I must say this is a great addition to the ongoing series of audiobooks. If you are a dog lover like me you would love to explore more about these furry friends and their origins. The narrator keeps it simple and easy to understand. It's a great companion for anyone who is looking to know more about dogs.

Great dive into the diversity of dogs!
This is the second book I have listened to in this series, and I plan to read more. I love the unique approach that is taken in giving special and equal consideration to each breed of dog. There is a lot to learn and I really enjoyed it.
