This week's podcast, as the title suggests, takes on the perspective with a lens of grace and empathy. Joining as our special guest is Michael O. Miller, Director of Development at Florida Atlantic University's College of Engineering and Computer Science.
In addition, Michael is conducting his doctoral research, which examines the intersection of religion/spirituality, minority males and philanthropy all which incorporates the voice from a middle-aged African American male.
"My research topic may vary from oppression, immigration, race and much more. However, given the recent COVID-19 and the edict for many colleges and universities to go online, I wonder what would be the learning implications for students, particularly minority students as well as what philanthropy will look like in post COVID arena," Michael says.
Expect heartfelt banter, snippets of pivotal life lessons, and tips for dealing with civil unrest and incivility. Welcome to The New Normal.
