loved the story!

I really liked this story. I don't want to go into the reasons why so I don't spoil anything.

Unique plot, perfect narration

I loved everything about this book and am so glad I stumbled upon the audiobook version. The story is told in first person by the main character, Marty, who is quirky, funny, self deprecating and earnest but also resilient. The heavy Southern accent used by the narrator is a bold choice but she nails it and it really brings this book to life. I hope more people stumble across this gem of a book that seems to have slipped under the radar when it came out.
