Then she feels a shift happening inside of her, forcing her to escape and she has no choice but to abide regardless of heading into the unknown and being unsure of what she is to face when she leaves the world she has always known but can no longer bear to live in.

A great short story!
I liked the story but I wish it were longer to allow for more character development. Although the author gives us a sense of the character’s depression and despair I don’t truly understand the progression of her downward spiral. A. Erin Walker’s voice is very relaxing so story was very easy to listen to but it was sometimes difficult to distinguish between the different characters.
