This story is all too common in the adoption world. It's well written with a good dose of suspence balanced by hope and love. I wish more people had the author's resilience & honesty.

Raw,beautiful and well written memoir

What a beautiful way to honor your son. Thank you for sharing your truth and the agonizing loss birth/ first moms experience through relinquishment of a child. So difficult, whether chosen or not and it’s important to share the truth about the trauma adoptees and first mothers face, as you did in your writing. As hard as it must have been to dive into your pain and trauma from this and your childhood, you have truly inspired others to seek support for themselves. Blown away by the beautiful writing and amazing to hear your voice narrating as only you could.

I’ve had earbuds in all day and just listened to the whole book!!! You are a beautiful writer and your story, well your story is so real, so tough, and so breaks me open in so many, many ways.
