Funny and pleasantly unexpected ending

The book started out really funny. The thoughts that run through a single, over weight woman's mind is right on. Funny and sad, but very real.

The narration was nicely done, very believable.
The characters were adequately developed giving just enough description to understand the characters relationship to the main character.

The story flowed nicely and I never got bored. I listened to the entire book in one afternoon.

I don't love it.

I read this book when I was younger and liked it. I thought I'd check it out again, but for some reason, I don't like it anymore.
The story is a bit plain and moves rather slowly. The character is funny, but that's about it. I can't really feel for her since she makes stupid decisions and keeps trying to get back with a guy who ditched her and shamed her.
I like smart characters and unfortunately, this one is not that smart.
The performance of the narrator is exceptional though.

All time fav

This is one of my all-time favorite chick lit books. I'm an English major, so I typically read heavier stuff. But, when I want something light, fun, and touching, I always come back to this one! Love it!

Loved the Book!!

Started out very funny and ended as a very sweet, thought provoking story.

An Enjoyable Read

I enjoyed this book alot. From the moment I started listening I was hooked and I actually looked forward to my daily commute when I could listen. The narrator, Paula Cale, did a great job.
