Publisher's summary

Marrying a stranger tops the list of things you should never do in Las Vegas, but I did it anyway.

The entire night was my idea. I was the one who suggested a wake-up-with-a-tiger kind of night. Instead, I woke up with a ring on my finger and Vince Rossi in my bed.

Vince was nothing like I thought he was and everything I never knew I needed. Suddenly I was falling head-over-heels in love with my accidental husband and the idea of ending this union was the last thing I wanted.

I wanted forever. So what if we barely knew each other? Statistically speaking, our odds were as good as anyone’s.

Until the annulment papers landed on my doorstep....

Hillarious!!

Jana did so good with Payton and Vince's story!! I was laughing my butt off from chapter one! I am pretty sure Payton is my new spirit animal! <3 I mean there were times where her young age came out and had me wanting to slap the silly out of her but that is one of the things I love about her, she owned it all! Vince is so mysterious and normally I would have hated not having his POV throughout but I was pleasantly surprised to have the epilogue in his POV! it was AWESOME!!! it made everything come together for me and I was just sooo happy in the end!
Erin Mallon is the freaking queen narrator IMO and she did amazing! she was brought Payton to life better than anyone else could have! loved everything about this story!

HILARIOUS!

What a crazy ride. The heroine is a hoot and complete goof, with her heart in the right place, and no filter between her brain and her mouth. Very lighthearted and fun story. 😂

❤️❤️❤️5 BIG STARS❤️❤️❤️

Playful and fun, but missing something vital

I’ll preface this by stating that I love all of Jana Aston’s books. Her ability to make readers/listeners laugh while truly feeling something is phenomenal. I also love both Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke. They are two of my absolute favorite narrators. That being said, I wanted more Vince than just the Epilogue. Payton was funny, wild, and charming, but I kept feeling like there were missing pieces of the story. Vince’s emotional development would have been a beautiful addition, not to mention that, as the reader, I always look forward to knowing a little something extra before the other characters in the story do. While I loved Vince, I didn’t get to know him in the way that I did with Jennings and Luke and Kyle...and all the rest of the wonderfully enigmatic males in Jana’s others books.
In all, I enjoyed the story, but I’m sure, like other followers of Jana, it would be a treat to have some Vince bonus material.

Hilarious!!!

2nd read My re-read was done through audible. Narrator Erin Mallon killed it with these characters. I loved this just as much the second time as I did the first. That ending was swoon worthy!

1st read I absolutely loved Good Time!!! I just really love quirky characters who can make me bust out laughing. Payton had me rolling so many times reading this book. She's the very definition of quirky and little bit insane. I loved her. This girl was a riot.

Payton isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea because she is that silly kind of quirky and I know not everyone can appreciate that. I mean, this girl made up her own vocabulary when she couldn't find the right words she needed. I legiterally want to use them myself...and I just did and that made me happy. :)

I also really liked how bold Payton was in her sexuality. It's pretty refreshing to read a heroine who isn't afraid to ask for sex and one that has no shame with their body. Saying that, you don't see her with any other man but the hero in this book. There is no other women or men drama. It was just a fun, happy book that I truly enjoyed.

Vince. This man surprised me. I really didn't know what to expect going in and I really like what I learned about him. The whole book is in Payton's POV except the Epilogue. Despite that, the author did a great job of expressing Vince. As much as I enjoyed Payton's actions, I doubly enjoyed Vince's reactions. I gotta admit, Vince had me swooning there at the end. I wasn't expecting the big romance in this, but it's there and it hit in a big way.

If everything I said in this review sounds like something you would enjoy, then I highly recommend you read this book. You will have a good time!

It's a real GOOD TIME

I picked up this book knowing it would be a Good Time (I know you see what I did there). I just knew because Jana Aston always makes me laugh. ALWAYS. And she did not disappoint. Seriously. There wasn't a single thing wrong with this book. In fact, everything that could go right, went right.

And I don't think anyone could do a better job of bringing our Payton to life quite like Erin Mallon. She's the only person who could do her justice. And I love her for it.

Payton is the friend of our Good Girl, Lydia. You remember her, right? She found love with our favorite Rhys. Payton was the crazy friend. Is the crazy friend. The kind of friend you wish you had. Especially when you get inside her head.

Which is what you get here. Payton is the funniest heroine I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. And I've met some crazy ladies in my time. But Payton is just so much fun and endearing and there's a small part of me that is just as crazy so I can totally relate to her brand of nuts.

And don't even get me started on Vince. Vince in Good Girl was a bit mysterious and had that whole "I run a strip club" thing about him.
But Vince in Good Time is just all the things. He's my number two Aston man. And I think that's because I'm stubborn and I'll never let Sawyer go. But let's talk about Vince....

Just, yes please! I'll take one sexy, broody, intense, intelligent man. I'll take him to-go. I'll take him for now. And I'll take him forever. Till death do us part.

You will too. You'll want a Vince all for yourself. But unfortunately I've already claimed him so you'll just have to bow out now.

Very Enteratining

Couldn't stop listening, so entertaining, humorous dialog. Jana Aston writes an enjoyable, (minimum drama), story and Erin Mallon is a great narrator for the main character.

Always a pleasure!

Jana is my pick me up author. The humor in her stories makes me laugh out loud. I love Payton and Vince and am anticipating Canons story!

They don’t call her balls out Natalie for nothing

Well, actually, this isn’t Charlie’s Angels and her name isn’t Natalie, but Peyton is definitely a kindred spirit of exuberant pandemonium. As Vince Rossi notes, she’s “possibly crazy, definitely trouble” and that makes for a fantastic opposites attract rom-com. Vince is a serious, organized 37 year old and Peyton a spontaneous, Cheez-It loving 22 year old who got kicked out of scouts because of a badge pyramid scheme.

Jana Astin is my new favorite contemporary romance author, thanks in large part to her wicked humor and naughty hawty nooky. Yes, that’s a thing. Along with mangled idioms that run raucously rampant throughout this book, like “break a d%ck”instead of “break a leg.” Erin Mallon’s comedic timing is fantastic, even if she always has the same voice for every H/h in every book she narrates (great voices, but it gives me distracting flashbacks to other books, like my favorite compilation of holiday novellas in The Reindeer Falls Collection). Not clean or tidy, this is for lovers of mouthy, dirty, flirty good times...and side eyes.
