Publisher's Summary

Josselyn has just spent the last three months in intense Line of Defense training so she could join Malcolm's search party. Little did she know the archangels had no intention of letting her bring back into Heaven an angel who had opened a portal between Heaven and Hell, at least not before saving God's creations from the tight grasp of Lucifer first.

Three months have passed since the angel Rhyan released nine repented demons from Hell, and now innocent people are dying, but their souls are not going to Heaven. Josselyn's mission is to find the demon responsible for stealing the souls and bring it to justice before Lucifer gains enough power to rise and claim Heaven and earth as his own.

Her whole world is shaken when she discovers what tool Lucifer is using to track down the one key to the release of his eternal damnation. Thoros is one half-souled immortal she prayed she would never see again. The ex-Prince of Lust had stolen her heart and crushed it with a cheeky smile. Now, not only is she being forced to put her damaged ego aside and face the only man that has ever hurt her, but she has to work with him in order to complete her assignment.

Is she strong enough to keep from falling in love with him again? Or is their love the only thing that can keep Lucifer from getting the one thing he wants most? Heaven.

The Best Ever

I have come to love the exciting stories that K. S. Haigwood tells. This book was so exciting. The buildup from the two previous books only made this book more amazing. Although each book has its own story line, this one is very different from the previous stories and is just as compelling. That is hard to say because each one was wonderful. The story between Josselyn and Thoros has been building. But, that is not the main plot. The thrill and suspense have equal time in this novel. This is not a complicated book, but it is solid, quality work. Not some superficial story with superficial characters. It was very hard to put down. Kristie has a wonderful talent that she shares with us in writing these magnificent stories. Love her work. She has chosen a great narrator in Pyper Down. Pyper certainly does justice to the great characters Kristie has created. Looking forward to starting one of Kristie's other series.

Love the series

Any additional comments?

Extremely well written and kept my total attention during the entire book and for the entire series. It would be helpful to have read the first two novels first. I do not think I have ever talked to a book as much as I did while lstening to Good Side of Sin. I was totally surprised. This book will definitely be the top of my list of favorite books. I recommend the entire series.

An incredible conclusion to Save My Soul series.

If you could sum up Good Side of Sin (Save My Soul) in three words, what would they be?

Explosive Paranormal Mythology.

What other book might you compare Good Side of Sin (Save My Soul) to and why?

Sorry, I don't like to compare books. If someone didn't like the book I compared this to, they would dislike this without even trying it & that isn't fair. All books should be judged individually.

Which character – as performed by Pyper Down – was your favorite?

I loved Josselyn. I was so happy to see her become an angel as she should have been all along! She had been on quite an adventure & not all of it was fun for her. I have to admire a character that is willing to lose everything to save someone else!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I would like to, but it is a lengthy book, so I split it up in 3 days. I love lengthy books!

Any additional comments?

This is a great ending to an incredible series. Listening to the audiobook is so much better than reading it yourself! I could never pronounce all the names myself, nor could I create all the excitement nor accents! The Author KS Haigwood captured my interest & kept me glued to my seat through out the entire book. The narrator Pyper Down did a great job with all her multiple voices. Together the two of you made this extremely exciting. The sex scenes were hot too! Even if your read the book, it's a whole new book in audio! It is like comparing the theater movie to the TV version. Audio breathes life into a book!

A great listen

A very long book but so very descriptive that makes you feel as though you are right there in the story.

The narrator changed from book one and two but she performed amazingly well.

Overall a good book.

What a listen!

Another thought provoking listen from K.S. Haigwood! This book was just as action packed and intriguing as the previous books plus we learn about a new place between heaven and hell. This is Josselyn’s story and picks up after the ending of the previous book and we get to see our old friends from books 1 and 2. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and hope the author continues with more books at some point in the future!

Another Great Listen in the Series!!!

We got to meet Josselyn and Thoros in the previous book of the series. Can be listened to as a standalone, and there is a generous amount of references to the previous story that give us a general idea of what happened previously; however, I'd recommend going ahead and listening/reading to the first two titles in the series because we are building on past events and because Josselyn and Thoros' relationship began previously and we also have a better understanding of who everyone is and their relative importance. In this 3rd book of the series, the author delivers another amazing addition that will have you hooked from the beginning. I also really like that she continues to give us variety of how these couples come together and the struggles they have to overcome. Love the characters as a whole, but really love the Josselyn is a strong female main character. I love this series and we continue the greatness throughout this book, too.

Interestingly there has been a different narrator for every book thus far and each has perfectly captured the nature of this series. The narrator gave us a fabulous performance that was just as excellent as the other performances for this series.

I received a review copy at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Each book gets better and better!

I cannot put this series down. I love paranormal romance books and this entire series has such a unique twist that I can’t help but be hooked! Both Josselyn and Thoros were introduced in Hell’s Gift and I was thrilled they were getting their own story. Josselyn is an Angel but I love her take no prisoners attitude and determination. She is sent to help the half souled Thoros and find out why he is collecting souls without realizing it. Thoros is the former prince of lust in hell and I have been intrigued by him since he first met Josselyn in the last book. There is some miscommunication between the two that lead to drama, some definite heat, and some action between Archangels and Demons. I cannot wait to read the Eternal series after meeting some of the characters at the end of Good Side of Sin!

Pyper Down did a wonderful job narrating Good Side of Sin. Accents always make or break a narration for me but Pyper did all the characters justice, and the flow between them all was great.

A Fantastic Paranormal Romance!

This is the third book in the Save My Soul Series. I loved it!

I downloaded this book as an audio book, so that I could listen to it while doing household chores. This audio book was narrated by Pyper Down. I loved her narration; her vocal interpretations of the characters made them come alive. She did a fantastic job! Her voice was melodic and smooth, and I found myself drawn into the story more easily. I would definitely listen to more books narrated by her.

Josselyn is a wonderful character. I really liked her when I met her in Hell's Gate. Getting to know her better in this story has been a pleasure. Although she is an angel, she has an almost "take no prisoners" attitude that I like. Still trying to find Malcolm, Josselyn will have to team up with the last person she would want to. Thoros, the ex-Prince of Lust.

Thoros is also a wonderful character. Being a Prince of Hell, he intrigued me in Hell's Gate, because I wasn't quite sure what his motives were where Josselyn was concerned. However, as I got to know him better, I realised that, even though he was the Prince of Lust, he is really a nice guy. Now living on Earth with half a soul, his life has become a nightmare. Joining Josselyn's mission could either save him, or damn him forever.

I started listening to this story and was quickly hooked. The story is told through various characters' points of view, which made it interesting. In this story we are also introduced to Ethan. He is a courier for hire - mostly drugs and money. He is an ordinary human with an extraordinary destiny. I really liked meeting him. He is actually a very pivotal character in this tale and, as the story progressed, his importance becomes revealed. This story has several twists and turns that completely threw me. There is danger, adventure and romance throughout the book. I loved listening to the sparks fly between Josselyn and Thoros. I found myself giggling at Thoros's thoughts and confusion over his emotions about Josselyn. Yes, he was an ex-Prince of lust, but he has no idea what to do about the emotion of love. Watching him scramble with this emotion made me feel a bit sorry for him. However, his jealous streak shows itself when they visit Limbo and they meet Omega. Omega is a character I wasn't sure whether to like or not. He has a bit of an identity crisis and I couldn't make up my mind whether he was a Dr. Jekyll, or a Mr. Hyde personality type. However, things are not as they seem and the reason for the split personality is shocking when it comes to light.
As I said before, there are several twists, but I was totally surprised by the one scene at the end of the group's visit to Limbo. I certainly didn't see that one coming! I can understand why Isaiah did what he did, but his choice did make me feel sad. I reached the end of the story and it was a bit bittersweet for me; I was happy for the characters, but sad that the story had to end.

I don't know if there will be anymore books in the series, but if not, I have enjoyed the roller coaster ride this series has taken me on. However, if there are more books to come, I look forward to reading/listening to them in the immediate future.

K.S. Haigwood has written a wonderful paranormal romance. I love her fast paced writing style, and the flow of the story was wonderful. I am fast becoming a fan of hers, and am looking forward to reading more of her other paranormal series as soon as possible.

Due to scenes of violence and some explicit sexual scenes, I do not recommend this book to younger readers. However, I recommend this story if you love older YA or erotic paranormal romance genres. - Lynn Worton
