This was an interesting book. Some things that are taken for granted like etiquette are covered. Some great ideas I need to try. Overall its fun, sexy and easy to listen to. I love Scarlett Dalton's guides, they are always a great listen.

Beginners guide

I was hoping this was something that was going to add a little to my life. However, its more like a beginner guide then for someone who has been around awhile. I received this book for free to give an honest review so I want to be honest. The tinny sound to the audio distracted from the author speaking. I felt more like I was being talk down to more then anything. There was no liveliness to this nor was there any inflection in it that made listening to it enjoyable. It was just like some one reading a book out loud with no idea on how to read a book. For a self help type book it was so droning I found myself drifting away from the speaker to do other things. Some of the tips and advice are good mind you. But you have to stick with it to get to them. Just not my kind of self help. Lacked what I call finesse.

not bad, had some helpful hint, and tricks. I was thrown off my the recording of this though. it was kind of like she was talking though a tin can at some points.. I think thats due more towards editing maybe?

everything in this book is sex 101 u learn all of this in highschool or college .come on basically all shes sayn is tell him ur hot and suck alil different. wow what a waste of money and time.

You Already Know This--No New Ideas.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Only if my friend were a virgin or very inexperienced and was comfortable with moral relativism. Then she may learn something, although she might also pick up some very stupid stereotypes about men.

What could Scarlett Dalton have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I am a happily married woman who browses sex books to pick up new ideas. I like to keep things spicy. This book is disappointing because there really are no new ideas. The chapter on teasing could be new to a few folks, but anyone who has been in a relationship, already knows everything this author covers. Worse she tries to tell you what all men like. Whenever you try to universalize something, you are asking for trouble. That is definitely true here. No, all men do not find hairless genitals sexy. My husband comments that she is so wrong it is scary. That is an individual preference, probably heavily influenced by the culture of each geographical area. In other words, maybe in California, but not here.

What is also disappointing is that she couches the book in moral relativism which sounds a bit preachy. It also may explain why she thinks women do not like to blow their partners (which needless to say is totally false). Maybe marry the person you're blowing honey. That ensures that you will like him and his dick.

She begins by saying there are no rules in sex, and then proceeds to give you a bunch of "guidelines." Yeah, lol. Sadly, this book is pretty clean. The descriptions are not particularly graphic, even when being so would help to illustrate the activity. Not a very sexy book.

Which character – as performed by Scarlett Dalton – was your favorite?

She both narrates and writes this book. Most authors make poor narrators of their own books. That is not true here. She does a good job. She is a good narrator. The problem with this book is not the narration, it is the content.

Did Good Sex inspire you to do anything?

Well, it did not inspire me to have sex. It inspired me to pray for this poor girl that she can have decent sex with a man she actually cares about. It would greatly improve the quality of her life and this book.

Most of this is common sense. It is intended to boost your confidence. It is a good 'pick me up'!
I did request this free audiobook and am giving an honest review!

Not Satisfied

The book was full of facts and tips that seemed to be recycled from magazines. There was nothing new or surprising.

Good content but the recording not that good

Where does Good Sex rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Content is good, but why are the S, letter sting the ears, on all my high end sound systems!

Horrible.
