Publisher's summary

The closer we look at the Robertson family, the more we discover the substance and authenticity below the surface of these well-known TV characters. In this enlightening audiobook, Jase Robertson gives us a deep look behind his funnyman exterior. In addition to stories of life in the Robertson family and epic tales of hunting of all kinds, listeners will get an inside look at Jase’s personal faith in the Creator of the outdoors he so dearly loves:

"My first thoughts about God came in a duck blind as I gazed upon the diversity and beauty of creation. There is nothing in nature that can be reproduced or equaled by humans. None of our computers, microchips, or cell phones can duplicate what God has put forth. Viewing the details of this magnificent Earth is better than any sermon from any preacher I have heard about the evidence of God."

More than a behind-the-scenes look at this beloved Duck Dynasty character, listeners will be inspired and encouraged to implement Jase’s "good call" reflections on faith, family, and fowl into their own lives.

The title says it all. Faith and family.

Faith and Family. This is an interesting story of the background that Duck Dynasty only hints to. It illustrates the foundation of the Robertson clan.

It was well written and an easy listen. Be ready for tons of religion.

It was funny to hear the evolution of Jase's narration of this book. It started very monotone and hard to listen to but after a few chapters, you could tell he was more comfortable reading. By the end, it was like sitting across from him at the dinner table... sans frog legs.

Great book

If you could sum up Good Call in three words, what would they be?

My favorite book by far from the duck commander family... jase is such a strong person in Christ . Hearing this book strengthens your faith in Christ .... I hope duck commander keeps the books coming.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Good Call?

I love how he uses stories from his life for examples of bible versus

Have you listened to any of Jase Robertson and Missy Robertson ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have all the duck commander line of books .... This is my favorite

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A modern family that truly reaps what they sew

Any additional comments?

Jase is a great teacher and deciple of Christ

Encouraging and inspirational

Would you listen to Good Call again? Why?

Yes! Jase and his wife Missy tell the stories first hand, and they left me feeling encouraged and inspired! A great recording and super easy to listen to!

What did you like best about this story?

Jase's faith in Christ shines through - yet he is willing to share when he's made mistakes, and how he recovered - such a good read of how staying focused on the gospel creates a foundation to stand firmly upon.

What does Jase Robertson and Missy Robertson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Everything! :0) Listening to them tell their own stories is like listening to a friend tell of something they have gone through - it's real, and they don't have to struggle with where to put the emphasis because they have actually lived these stories! Excellent book!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes - I found myself both laughing out loud as well as crying - it's just real, so you can't help but react with real emotions.

Any additional comments?

Much more encouraging to read real stories of faith than some of the popular self help books written by Christian pastors and speakers. Those types of books might be instructive, but Good Call was thoroughly inspiring - and you can gain wisdom from their experiences - I really enjoyed this great book!

So far my favorite book from duck commander

Of listen to happy happy happy by Phil Robertson and death of American souls but Phil Robertson this is my 3rd book from duck commander and has been my favorite. I love both books from feel however I feel the execution in Jason's book has been the best. This is a great read or listen for any fans of the show anyone struggling with their faith or just anyone in general a highly recommend this book
