TERRIBLE Narrator!!
I really wanted to like this book. The story (as far as I got) was good, but the narrator ruined it. It was like I was trying to run through mud to get through it. I couldn't finish it. Don't waste your credits on this one.

If only I'd known.
Would you consider the audio edition of Gone to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the book.
What other book might you compare Gone to and why?
To Die For (audio). Both are mystery-suspense type stories about a missing child.
What aspect of Dave Wright’s performance would you have changed?
Most of it. At times he emphasizes the wrong syllable of words. Frequently he reads it as if a person who doesn't understand English well is listening to him.....such as; I DO NOT LIKE THE WAY HE READ IT.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The plight of the kidnapped girl when she was first punished.
The end frustrated me.

If I'd have known it was a 3 part story I would have made the other 2 books available on my reader.

The story was great....until the recording ended and the story was not finished (or at an appropriate stopping point).

egh at its finest
Although this book was okay, I feel like the person reading us the book very lack luster. I also understand this is part 1 of a 3 part book and did not realize that until after all ready starting the book. I looked for the other two and Audible does not carry them. so terribly disappointed :(

Another book that doesn't have an ending. Can't anyone finish a book??? Seems li!e everyone thinks their books have to be serial. I don't mind books with ongoing characters but could they finish one story!!!!!

Great narration!!
I absolutely loved the narration! He had me IN THE STORY. His special effects and change of voices were perfect. 💕👍🏼☺️
