Ten-year-old Persinette Basile was forced to flee the palace of Gaule for her life. Now at 18, she must find a way to return in order to obey a curse on her family line.

The prince won't know who she is. Not anymore. But she knows him and what he will do if he discovers her true name. Made to fight for her life to earn her place, she vows to find a way to break the curse no matter the cost.

To. The. Death.

Unique retelling

The narrator was great! I enjoyed her voice and the way she was able to capture the characters.
It was not a retelling of Repunzel that i expected but was still entrancing and captivating all the same. Cannot wait to see what happens next!

Great book, short audio / value / money

If you have read the Lochlan treaty or feud you will like this book as well. Interesting storyline and good character development.
I would recommend the kindle read, but the audio book was too short for the price you pay for it. I hope they bundle the four books and then give out the audio, because otherwise it’s really expensive to listen to the full series.

So far, I like it...

So far I'm impressed. It moves at a steady pace. There aren't three paragraphs detailing one meal, which I appreciate. The characters are enchanting, and the storyline is keeping me intrigued. Perfect cliffhanger to keep you reading. Onto the next book!

Good story

This was a good story. I really like the paranormal romances. But I would not say that this was a twist on rapunzel. Infact they really barely mention it and it has no impact on the story. Overall though good book.

Meh

Not very original story line, narrator has a really annoying lisp every time she says the letter S, the story is meant to be based of of Rapunzel but there hasn’t been a single reference to the fairytale, the main characters name is Perinette baisle like… girl
