Great story of self discovery!

I've listened to many motorcycle adventures through various platforms, and this ranks among the best of them!

Awesome story

I loved the perspective of this Irishman as he travelled over 50,000 Mike's on his Moto Guzi. This was a true adventure. one guy, limited funds, poor planning, zero support, but successful due to his great attitude.

Great book. It is honest, unpolished and from the gut. If Ted Simon is the granddaddy, Sam Manicom the favorite uncle, Elsbeth Beard the big sister...this guy is the black sheep of the family.

Traveling in a different era

Well written, interesting content and a good narrator. I’d listen to another one tomorrow. I wonder what he would’ve thought about Africa had he ridden SA first.

God awful fake accents

I’ll check out the book, I only survived 3 chapters and couldn’t take the fake accent anymore.
Pro tip, every character in the story does not have to be read in a Simpsons accent. Just read what they say in a normal accent.
Would it have killed you to have an actual Irishman do the audio narrating for a book from an Irishman??
