Last year’s Cinderella story returns to find if love can conquer all, or if she’s living in a fantasy world.

Sometimes everything works out the way it’s supposed to. And sometimes, you have to give life a nudge. That’s been Harper Duquaine’s experience. It’s how she went from last in her fantasy football league to its fiercest competitor. It’s how she won the heart of her true love. And, this year, it’s how she’s going to level up.

Only, life apparently didn’t get the memo. With problems at work leaving her stressed and an increasingly distant boyfriend, Harper feels like she’s back at square one. But if she’s learned anything in the past year, it’s that you can’t give up on what you love without a fight. And, it never hurts to have an extra wide receiver on your roster.

One thing is clear: Harper Duquaine is back to dominate. And this time, she’s bringing cupcakes to sweeten the smackdown.

From the award-winning author of The Marrying Type and Playing House, Going for Two is laugh-out-loud romantic women’s fiction with a strong heroine, a cast of quirky characters, and a lot of heart.

Any additional comments?

Although part of a series, Going For Two can be listened to as a standalone audiobook. I loved this story and Harper and Brook. The narration was excellent and I was engaged from the first chapter. I appreciated the humor and the many football metaphors. A fun listen! I would recommend this audiobook.

I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. This review is my honest opinion.
