Publisher's Summary

Leaving her tiny flat in London and a whole host of headaches behind her, Lizzy Walter is making the familiar journey back home to spend Christmas with her chaotic but big-hearted family, with Keeper House being her one constant. But family secrets and rivalries lurk behind the mistletoe and mince pies. When David, the man who broke her heart, makes an unexpected appearance, it ranks as a Christmas she would definitely rather forget.

A pleasant romantic novel

I bought this title around Christmas and thought it would be more Christmassy - the story does start at Christmas and it has enough schmalz to make up for the lack of Christmassyness after the opening chapters. It is a decent and quite entertaining romantic novel with several well drawn characters. Of its kind, it's a well-executed novel, well read and easy to listen to. The narrator is clear and her voice is well suited to the story. Whilst I don't recommend it highly, those who enjoy romantic novels will probably enjoy this.
