An earthquake sends them all falling into the heart of Mount Hancock. Somehow they survive their falls unharmed. Trapped deep underground, they discover an ancient starship named Godspeed, which crashed down to Earth hundreds of millions of years ago, with only five surviving Crew members.

As they explore the bizarre alien relic, it begins to seem bizarrely familiar, to them. As old memories resurface and ancient passions re-ignite, the five of them find themselves trapped at the center of an incomprehensible set of interlocking mysteries. Their fates are apparently inextricably interwoven with an impossibly distant alien civilization, and the very origin of humanity itself.

The only way out is through.
