Publisher's summary

To sail the Broken Sea is to brave the most dangerous waters of Domhan. But that is just what Arthur Shield and Mikaia Goretusk will do.

Following rumors of a powerful Elven Queen that might be able to get Mikaia home to Earth, the two gain passage on a pirate ship sailing these treacherous waters.

Their journey grants them new allies, but also new dangers. While pursued by an ambitious Imperial admiral they flee through a gauntlet of challenges: God-infested islands, godless paladins, and an evil as old as the Broken Sea, and Domhan, itself.

Sir Shield and a Conversation with a Dead God

This has been one of my absolutely favorite series! Action, adventure and more! Plus the story teller is a 7 year old orc girl! I confess that it was very much an emotional rollacoaster from start to finish but that is what you want in a great book is to be carried along and experience the world you are learning about with the characters right? For me it is anyway and this book did not fail to accomplish that. Both writer and narrator did a fabulous job of bring the story and characters to life. I hope there is a book 3 as I would like to journey more with Sir Shield and Mickey

A Juggernaut of a sequel!

Jakins has once again taken the reader to a world filled with an intriguing story and phenomenal character development. This is quickly becoming my favorite “Spin-off” series! Great work from the narrator as well, can’t wait for the next installment!

Pirates, Gods, and Dragons OH MY!

This story is great. The 8 hour listen flew by and left me wondering when in the hell the next book is going to be out. I love Arthur and Miki's development as characters and their relationship, and their dynamic with the other characters is phenomenal.

This might be Jakins' best work yet.
