Publisher's Summary

I didn’t start this war, but I will finish it.

I thought we had won, that the worlds were safe. Then I had one final vision, and I saw the truth. The Abhorrent, the eldritch, evil force behind Pestilence, was undefeated and still intent on devouring the light of everything good.

I saw that I would fail, everyone I loved would die, and without us, the worlds would crumble, even the gods unable to stand against the Abhorrent.

This left me with one question: How does one go about changing the future?

They tell me the Abhorrent is immortal.

As far as I’m concerned, that’s just a slight inconvenience.

Gods of Ash and Amber is the fourth and final book in a dark and deliciously violent adventure series that combines science fiction, fantasy, and game elements. You'll love Gods of Ash and Amber because of the electrifying action, flawed characters, and kick-ass heroine.

Just finished the series. Really enjoyed this author’s style, and sense of timing. The narrator is fantastic

A fitting end ❤️ to this amazing series!

I’m oddly at peace with this end. It felt good, even if I (secretly) wished a few things went differently, it was rather satisfying and somehow right. I’ve never read/listened to an RPG novel before, let alone an entire series but am thrilled and relieved I’ve found this one❤️. Now I’m off to find my next thrill and will DEFINITELY be looking into more books from this author, because let’s be honest here: there is no way I’ll ever pass up one of her books ever again after listening to this series. Because even if YA has never been my cup of tea, I’d happily hear more from this author just because it was an amazing story on its own with such a well written cast of characters that I’ll probably re-listen to this series five time more!

it ends well

I thought the end was going to be rushed and not good based on how the last 3 hours went but it was ended beautifully.

a good ending to a good series.

overall I am better off as a human having read these books. Ellis has some remarkable creativity.

Duke does a fine job across all 4 books.
