I really loved this book! It is so full of wisdom and helpful examples. Inspirational and educational!
The narration was a bit difficult to listen to. But the content of the book made up for it.

Like Walking Thru History

Roberts book takes the reader/listener alongside God's Generals through history. The historical context is not only amazing and informative, but you feel as if you have learned from the Generals themselves seeing their pains and hard aches as well as their joys and triumphs. A must read book in print or audio.

Great overview of amazing revivalists of the past

Overall this is a great book that gives a snapshot into the lives of men and woman who paved the paths of revival and the supernatural. The only challenging part is the amount of personal thoughts and opinions of the author.

If you are in clergy you must read this book! It’s a must and should be required before you are licensed. Why? You learn from others success and their mistakes. I heard more mistakes than anything. Even though they were giants, they still battled with flesh. This book is a perfect of example of what not to do. Amazing read.

This book is anointed. Incredible stories. Brings so much fear of the Lord and conviction. I loved reading this!

Not long ago, it was reported the reason for Allen's death was false. The doctor confessed to the granddaughter on his deathbed that he was paid to write a false statement on Allen's medical records the reason for the death was alcohol related. The doctor gave the granddaughter the copy of the payment by check. Research it. It would be good and right to revise the ending of Allen's story.

Otherwise, the audible was very thorough and well done.
