Two Kingdoms, Stella Dark & Sol Light!

God of the Sun (Stella and Sol Book 1)
This is the first audio in this ya urban fantasy series that takes you on an epic journey of a whole new world with a dark prophecy. I actually read this series but loved it so much I wanted to listen to it. The audio begins with a prophecy given by the old mother. A captivating novel that is beautifully scripted with no inconsistencies. The world building descriptions & settings are well defined & detailed. The main & supporting characters are compelling with complex characteristics. "The Voice" reminded me of OZ from Wizard of Oz and I absolutely loved it. The author creates a world that pulls you in & keeps you engaged all the way to the end & leaves you wanting more. This ends with a cliffhanger that will have you craving more, but all books are available in audio to listen.

Narator Angel Clark's naration was smooth & polished. Character's were given their own distinct voice. I absolutely loved "the voice" the way it sounded and the ambience around it. Her inflection was perfect and everything flows through smoothly and right pace.

I highly recommend listening to this audio and look forward to listening to the next audio in this intriguing ya urban fantasy series.

Great story!

This story was great! The narration was wonderful. I cannot wait to read the next book! It started off kind of slow, but after the first few chapters, it was hard to stop listening. The characters are very diverse and intriguing, and the narrator did a great job voicing all of the different characters. She also spoke very clearly without speaking too slowly (I lose interest if the speech is too slow sometimes).

Love this story

I love Kim Loth’s book and I was not disappointed in this one. Stella is a place that is always in darkness and Sol is always in light. There is a prophecy that is told saying these two kingdoms needs to be united or else a child will die. This is the story of Zwaantie and Leo. Zwaantie is the princess of Sol while Leo is a prince from Stella. Things don't go well for Zwaantie as now that her brother is home she is supposed to get married which is something she does not want to do. There are attempts made on her life and she decides to go with Leo to Stella. It was nice to hear how some of these names are pronounced and I can’t wait for the next one.

Love it!

This is my all time favorite series of Kimberly Loth (I love them all actually but this is my favorite lol). This is the first time I've heart Angel Clark narrate my only complaint is that sometimes I don't feel there is a huge difference in some of the voices, but overall it was a great job! I would listen to her narrate more books and of course I would listen and read all Kimberly Loth books!

A YA fantasy that leaves you wanting more

I had originally read this a few years ago and enjoyed it then, but being able to listen really took the story to the next level for me. This is a cute YA fantasy that revolves around a love triangle and a mystery. I personally thought that the effect used to do The Voice is perfect! Be warned that it does end on a cliffhanger, though I find myself going back to read the second book now.
