Encouraging book!

I can relate to these characters—feeling like I’ve failed too much for God to use me, but this book brings out the fact that God really does use “broken vessels.” Max is also an amazing wordsmith—he uses very vivid illustrations.

Such a blessing!!

God is a God of second chances he forgave Jacob time after time he even changed his name to 8srqek and he was to be fruitful and his generation would be wealthy

Just what we all need to hear.

When you feel all your past and mistakes closing in listen to this. Reminds us we are all sinners always. But Gods grace never leaves. He is always with us.

An excellent reminder of amazing grace!

I just finished listening to this audio recording, and Max Lucado did not disappoint! I feel like I’m breathing lighter. This is a message so needed in this world today! As I accept this grace for myself, I feel inspired to offer it generously to others. The story of Jacob was really interesting to dive into and witness God’s grace and relentless pursuit despite Jacob’s shortcomings.

This is a wonderful book

I love how Max Lucado narrates his own book. God has given him a special gift of story telling and opens up the pages of the Bible to give us insight into the lives of God’s chosen ones. He helps us actually understand and relate to them in many ways and ultimately see the bountiful Grace of God at work. This gives me hope and encouragement in my own life to know and believe that God will never give up on me.
