I love listening to Max. He gives me so much peace and comfort throughout my day as I take care of my terminally ill husband.

Nothing. I found this to be a very satisfying book. Max’s humor and personal stories made it even better to listen to.

The story telling that makes history come to life like no other author I have ever heard.

I think I have listened to all of Max's books, some several times. He paints pictures with his words that are priceless and have changed my life. This book should be read by every human being and IF everyone did, we would have revival. I pray every day that God will continue to put more and more books in his heart.

God’s love is the only thing too good to be true but actually is.

I need to listen to this book every week. I constantly pull away from God due to my unworthiness. Not that I do anything terrible but I’m just so undeserving of His love. What I need to do is accept His love and forgiveness, know that I can never earn it and believe that God’s love for me is not based on me but on Him. To God be all the glory, honor and praise!

I am thankful for the reminder that in the life of Jacob is an illustration of how the Lord’s grace is so abundant that we cannot even fathom God’s patience with us.
