Publisher's summary

Do you believe God is just not fair?

If you're like Jennifer Rothschild, you wrestle with questions when you experience painful circumstances.

Does God care? Does he hear my prayers? Is he even there?

Blinded as a teenager, Jennifer overcame daunting obstacles, found strength in God, and launched a successful speaking and writing ministry. Then in her 40s, everything changed.

Jennifer hit a wall of depression and discontent that shook her to her core, undermining many of her past assumptions about her faith. She wondered who God was and why he continued to allow her to struggle and doubt. Where, she pleaded, is his hand of healing and hope in my life now?

This is an audiobook about finding more than just answers. It's for anyone who needs hope when life doesn't make sense - for all who reach for a God who feels distant. As Jennifer tackles the six big questions of faith, she will help you:

  • Trust God more than your feelings
  • Strengthen your faith when you feel beat up by life
  • Embrace your obstacles and start experiencing their purpose
  • Face your disappointment and grow stronger from your loss

Through scripture, Jennifer’s answers many questions I’ve struggled with.

Referencing scripture,Jennifer reminds us that God is all knowing and has a reason for the things he does while loving and being with us.

Incredible book - changed my life!

Ive struggled for years with the unanswerable questions of life. Why does God allow this or that. Why did my Mama get ALS when she served God all of her life. Why God?

Why does he heal some but not others?
This book explores with depth and real life examples these questions and more.

A must read!!!

Thank you!

Jennifer, I am so grateful God put it on your heart to write this book. The sorrow I’ve been feeling in my life has been so heavy, it has been difficult (some days, impossible) to find joy. I am stuck in the muck of life and it is so wearing. As a Christian, I feel ashamed. Intellectually and spiritually, I know that God’s grace is more than sufficient. Yet, I ask myself - then, why am I here in this place of despair and anxiety? One of those, “if, then” questions you talk. Although this book has not taken away my feelings of despair, it has connected me to someone (you) who has put my feelings into words so precisely. That connection (even though we don’t know each other), makes me feel a little less lonely and encourages me. If someone who doesn’t even know me can understand the feelings and questions I am having, how much more does My God understand!? Thank you for reminding me of that truth. God Bless you, friend.

What did you love best about God Is Just Not Fair?

In a time where our world is reaching for answers and so quick to place blame, Jennifer brings us on a journey of self discovery, God discovery and leads us to a spiritual paradigm shift that disarms the accuser (devil).

God is Good......Psalm 136:1

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Two people praying for the same healing, one is delivered, the other must endure......"there is nothing like struggle to bring us to a place where we need to depend on God!"

Any additional comments?

Only in complete surrender do we truly experience the peace and rest God has for everyone of us...
"Not my will, but thine be done!" - Jesus
