Wild ride with forever friends seeking warmth and brownies. I love that these books give me giggles on dark days. The story is excellent with twists, on curves around cliffhangers, falling into a mug of hot tea.

It's All in the Name Of Research Until it Spreads

This book is full of ego, hubris, apathy, & narcissism; a great recipe to set off a zombie apocalypse. Research never hurts anyone until you remove the pesky safety protocols, and consequences do not come back to bite you, until they show up on your doorstep to do exactly that.

Follow our heroes as they try to track down the responsible party who started making the hungry dead walk arise from their graves, before it bites them, too.

better and better

this series is going really well. Funny, deeper than the first one, and just vulnerable in a good warm way.

Doubly Disappointing

I was a bit underwhelmed with the first Gobbelino London novel after it being recommended when I finished the Johannes Cabal series. Thought I’d give the characters one more try. The narrator does an excellent job and it’s a redeeming item for the audio book. I couldn’t even finish this one. The characters and storyline seems so “forced”, like the author is trying way too hard to be funny like Douglas Adam’s. I found the first the this novel to be exasperating and frustrating rather then engaging and funny. Definitely not my cup of tea and it didn’t come close to the Cabal series which what I was shooting for when I tried this novel. Maybe others will like it but I’ve given up on this series.
