Il commissario Lupo, assieme al suo vice Caruso, è chiamato a risolvere un caso senza precedenti, dove il mistero si intreccia alla sorpresa e la sorpresa si conclude con un vero colpo di scena. Un giallo avvincente che tiene il lettore legato al racconto dall’inizio alla fine.
Chi ha ucciso il primo della serie dei tre vecchi amici frequentatori del night club “Il Colosseo” facendosi beffe della polizia? Dopo aver risolto “Il caso Satanas” e quello di “Giulietta deve morire” (Gilgamesh Edizioni), il commissario Codilupo, detto Lupo, intraprende le indagini assieme a Caruso, il suo aiuto, per scovare l’assassino dei tre pensionati. “Gli omicidi del Colosseo”, scritto in modo brioso e ironico, con delle spiritose inserzioni metalinguistiche, e una inusitata regia metaletteraria, chiude la trilogia dei gialli di Bertolini.
Come per “Il caso Satanas”, l’azione si svolge in una Roma dal fascino sempre indiscutibile nonostante le tantissime magagne. Lo stile narrativo è quello proprio di Fausto Bertolini. Effervescente, brioso, percorso da una sottile e simpatica vena di ironia. In modo particolare contrassegnato dalla sua inequivocabile vena cinematografica per cui dalle parole scaturiscono immagini.
L’Autore:
Fausto Bertolini nasce, a sua insaputa, a Pegognaga (MN) nel 1944. Liceo classico a Mantova. Laurea in filosofia. Master in psicologica del profondo. Come auditore frequenta i corsi di regia teatrale presso L’Accademia del Piccolo Teatro di Milano e presso il Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma. Ha lavorato nel settore teatrale, televisivo e cinematografico. Come Regista R.A.I. ha diretto diversi documentati e servizi. È stato assistente di Fellini (nel film Il Casanova) e di Bertolucci (nel film Novecento).
