Publisher's summary

Mind-reader Luna Jane Prescott hates her waitressing job at Randy's Crab Crib, and her life in general, but she certainly doesn't want to die. When Zor, a hot stranger, shows up and tells her she's in terrible danger, she thinks either he's crazy or he's some kind of sexy, stress-induced hallucination.

Soon, bad things begin to happen, and she has no choice but to heed his warning. Staying means putting herself and everyone she cares about in mortal peril, but will leaving with Zor be the worst mistake she's ever made?

So-so

I was a little excited when the background environment referenced a familiar area; in my case it’s St. Pete Beach. But in the end, the story was lacking for me. The ‘soulmate’ idea is fairly common but the circumstances were a little bit different in this case. Because of that, I went ahead and finished the book, but there were several times when I thought about just giving it up. However, it does have the twist as I mentioned, and it may be worth reading for that reason.
