Less ghost mystery than town corruption mystery.

this book was narrated by Virtual Voice, which means many times the inflection wasn't correct for the situation, and some words were mispronounced.

I was looking forward to some "ghost-whisperer" type of sleuthing, but the main focus of the story was on the corruption and injustices of the local authorities. The ghost mystery was hardly mentioned throughout the whole book. It was resolved at the end, but instead of just tying together the few clues, new information that we didn't see or know that he collected was introduced to explain what happened to the girl.

Virtual reader not so hot

The virtual reader mispronounces quite a few words. It also, gets a lot of the inflections wrong.

Easy to listen

The story is very well planned. Easy to follow. I don’t care for the AI voice. The story loses depth when read and it take jobs away from real talent. I will not listen to AI read stories anymore. But I will read the print version. My reading is better than the AI.
