Scary in a different way

The main reason I was interested in Ghost Stories is that they are read by Sir Michael Hordern. I loved his reading of “The Wind in the Willows”, it was like being read to by the grandfather I never had. The Ghost stories were scary enough, but in a more subtle way, which makes them all the more scary. They take place in England in the 1700’s, when superstitions abounded, and most of the stories seem to have a creepy revenge against the person who somehow deserves it…
