Ivy and her best friend Jinx may not be raking in the dough, but their psychic detective agency pays the bills - most of the time. Unable to share her secret with Jinx, and with Jenna called away on Hunters' Guild business, Ivy must rely on Ceff and Torn to lead her to Death's door, literally, and back again. A southern vampire with a hankering for blood and wanton violence may have bit off more than he can chew. "Demonized": The demon attorney we love to hate has his eye on a certain rockabilly human. Too bad she's brought a crossbow loaded with holy-water-dipped bolts for this night on the town. The discovery of bricked-up skeletal remains at 36, Craven Street point to something more diabolical than an illegal anatomy school. The tool marks on the bones - arcane sigils of great power - indicate more than mere butchery, more than enlightened experimentation. The signs, omens, and portents support the crown's greatest fears. A great evil is being unleashed upon the gaslit streets of London, a blood-drenched shadow reaching skeletal fingers beyond the slums of Whitechapel.

I've witnessed how power twists and corrupts - and I've tasted power no human should wield. I thought I knew greed. Ambition and avarice drove my family into hiding. My parents died for someone else's greed. I've never hunted anything in my life, but now I'm hunting their killer - with my demon's help. I thought I'd seen evil. But with each step closer to my parents' murderer, I'm uncovering a different sort of evil.

It was an ordinary job. Another night, another asshole collector of the supernatural. I free some poor little beasties from their cages, pocket a few trinkets to pay my bills, and burn the place down on my way out. Just call me the Robin Hood of monster emancipation. I didn’t count on three manly monsters following me home like lost puppies. Stunningly hot lost puppies, but still. Now I’ve got a seductively cheeky incubus, a sweetly enthusiastic demon, and a grimly stoic angel camped out in my kitchen.

Publisher's Summary
Ivy Granger, psychic detective, thought she'd seen it all...until now.
With a vengeful lamia that only she can see on the city streets, reports of specters walking Harborsmouth cemeteries, and an angry mob of faerie clients at her office door, it's bound to be a long night. Add in an offense against the faerie courts and a few foolish bargains and one thing is clear - Ivy Granger is in some seriously deep trouble.
Ivy Granger is back, gathering clues in the darkest shadows of downtown Harborsmouth. With the lives of multiple clients on the line, she's in a race against time. Ivy finally has a lead to the whereabouts of the one person who can help her control her wisp abilities, but will she put the needs of her clients above her own?
If Ivy doesn't find a solution soon, she could wind up a ghost herself.
Ghost Light is the second novel in the best-selling Ivy Granger urban fantasy series by E. J. Stevens.

Amazing Second Book.
If you could sum up Ghost Light in three words, what would they be?
Fast Paced Read.
What about Traci Odom’s performance did you like?
Traci Odom did a great job with this. She really has the snark down and is a great Ivy Granger.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There are a few moments that made me laugh because of Ivys' wit.
Any additional comments?
Ghost Light is the second book and for me, was the best yet. I loved Ivy in this one and the plot was fast paced. I love Ceff and Ivys relationship and enjoyed seeing it play out. There are some surprising revelations and Ivy has to embrace her destiny. E.J Stevens really stepped up her game in the series and I can't wait for the next one!

Another Great Story in the Ivy Granger Series
Ghost Light, as the second book in the Ivy Granger series, Ivy has made a lot changes in her life since we first met her in book one. She has learned that she is a fairy princess. Her father is Will-O-the-Wisp, king of the Wisps. She doesn’t remember her father, so this was a complete surprise when she learned this information late in the previous book. In this story, she learns what it means to be a fairy princess. She is dating Ceff, the Kelpie king. Lastly, her business has taken off after she saves the day in Shadow Sight.
This story starts with many of the fae showing up at her PI office because they are missing their children. Ivy has the task of trying to find all of these fae kids before anything happens to them. She also thinks she is seeing Ceff’s estranged lamia, or sea snake, wife around Harborsmouth. If that isn’t enough, she is having a hard time controlling her new fae powers and her skin keeps glowing when it is most inconvenient.
Ivy meets a new fae leader who is willing to align himself with her and help her along this journey. His name is Torn and he is a cat sidhe. He is a very mischievous cat at that, but I really like him. Ivy, Ceff and Jinx go to a fae club in Harborsmouth called Club Nexus to find Torn. This is when Ivy is forced to come out of the closet as a wisp princess. Club Nexus is an experience. Each of the different types of fae have their own little section set up just for them. It was a very interesting adventure just going through the club and seeing the politics.
Once again, I really enjoyed this part of Ivy’s life. We got to learn a lot about her father. She had to come some very hard truths. She even worked to patch up her relationship with her mother. Her relationship with Ceff continues to grow. They were even able to tough for the first time. I’ve really liked watching Ivy grow and can’t wait to get to the next books in the series.
Narration
I’ve really enjoyed Tracy Odom’s narration of this series. I think she does a great job bringing out all the different personalities of the different types of fae. I like her male and female voices and her pacing is perfect for me. I loved the voice that she did for the cat sidhe, Torn.

Fun to listen too!
Would you consider the audio edition of Ghost Light to be better than the print version?
I woudn't know I have only listened to it and will probably continue to listen as I love the narrator.
Have you listened to any of Traci Odom’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Only listened to this series but she will be a narrator I will watch for to get more books from as long as it's a genre I love. :)
Any additional comments?
In the first book Ivy finds out that she is not all human and now she is dealing with figuring out who she is and she has her first boyfriend, the kelpy king she helped from the first book.
Life isn't all roses though because she finds out that kids from the paranormal community are going missing and she has to deal with Ceff's ex-wife. She really must find her father and have him help her figure out how to contain her magic before she upsets the fairy courts for not being able to control her light.
Not a dull moment when your with Ivy Granger! My favorite character is still the young troll as he is so truthful and he cracks me up.
Loved this book as much as the first one! Great fun and I recommend it to anyone who loves paranormal/urban fantasy type books.

Ghost Light Review
I liked this story quite a bit. It was great for its genre. I accidentally listened to this before Shadow Sight but it worked. I think this can be listened to just fine as a stand alone but going in order is always best.
I can't type too much for having extensive work done on my shoulder and a lot of pain. Unforeseen issue.
Traci Odom did a better job on this one than Club Nexus. My only thing is the sharp, hard edged voice of a few characters. I still think it would be better read in a normal voice with inflections.

Outstanding developements!
**Audiobook was provided by the author for an honest review**
In this edition of the Ivy Granger Series, Ivy is knee deep in a serious case. Ivy has an incredible encounter with her boyfriend's dead wife! YIKES!! Although Ceff's ex is a present danger in their lives, the experience takes them into uncharted territory within their relationship. On the back burner, but rearing it's ugly head is Ivy's past, her heritage, her unknown real father. Ivy has been ignoring the fact that she is half fae, but now her abilities are coming forth and pushing her into a frantic hurry to learn how to tamp them down. Can Ivy figure out how ghost's are appearing live, find the missing fae children, and learn the truth about her father all before she gets herself killed?? What a ride I had finding out!
The more I learn about Ivy and her past, the more anticipation I feel for what is to come! Ivy is destined for greatness and she has no idea what is in store! And the development in her relationship with the Kelpie King Ceff, had me giddy with joy as I listened! I can't hold my excitement in for this awesome new series that has been bestowed upon me! Now that we, (Ivy) knows what she is dealing with, (kinda) we can begin the journey that will hopefully unite her people and save her father! Book 3, Club Nexus is already downloaded and ready to go!
Narrator Review
Traci Odom returns! YES! I love Traci :) She has a firm, no nonsense voice when narrating, but when it comes to her character voices, she completely transforms! Traci is a delight to listen to, and truly brings the story to life! I give Traci 4 Stars for her performance!

This is one of my favorite series. I love the world the Author has created and the characters and creatures who inhabit it. It's one of those stories that I want to hurry up to see what happens but at the same time savor every moment. The narrator was great bringing the story & characters to life. Entertaining story
This is another enjoyable story in the Ivy Granger series. Missing children, demons, vengeful Lamia, a lost father and mysterious cats make this a fun, entertaining story. The characters grow in depth with each book and I love seeing how their lives are evolving. I especially like how Marvin is developing into a quietly intelligent troll with a big heart and innovative ideas. In this story Ceff and Ivy’s relationship begins to heat up nicely and her newfound Fae side causes unforeseen difficulties in her life. The narrator of the audiobook does a great job of the characters voices, bring out the individual personalities well and letting you feel the humour and emotion in the story. I will look forward following Ivy’s search for her father in the next book.

Great Story Can Not Wait to start the next!
Really enjoyed this story and the narrator is good, I feel that this story was even better than the First. I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys urban fantasy with a helping of humor and sly remarks.

If she fails many many innocent children will be at risk of an even graver danger than they are already in.To top this off The Faerie courts are breathing down her neck to do it and not show her powers to humans if she cant it could have a fatal result for Ivy.We meet a Cait Sidhe(which I was suuuuper excited about!)Jinx gets even with a slime ball from the guild and we get a glimpse of how hard it is for Ivy regarding having to get clothes or anything that toucher her skin ,but we meet someone who helps her with that and I wouldn't mind sitting down and having a drink with him :) Ghost light .simply put, amazing.
