Publisher's summary

The third book in the USA Today best-selling Asheville Brewing series.

One night. Just one night.

Or at least that’s what Maisie tells herself when she brings Jack Durand home. Because even though his arms are a thing of beauty and he can charm wild animals (a huge turn-on for an animal lover like her), she’s in no position to start anything with anyone. So she pretends she’s just scratching an itch.

Jack is pretending, too. His little sister is moving to Asheville as his ward, and between getting her through her senior year of high school and working at the family brewery, he doesn’t have time for a girlfriend. Even a sexy, no-nonsense powerhouse like Maisie.

But he can’t stop thinking about her, and it turns out he doesn’t have to. Her best friend, River, announces his engagement to Jack’s half-sister, Georgie, and - surprise! - they’re both in the wedding party.

Fate keeps throwing Jack and Maisie together, reminding them of how good they are together...which would be a whole lot less complicated if she hadn’t spent half her life in love with River.

Can’t wait for the next one!

I’m really enjoying this series, the long pause between chapters is a bit weird but other then that it was a really good story, the family dynamics grow with each story so does the friendships.

Jack and Maisie

This is the third book in this series. Each book gets better if that's possible. Jack and Maisie finally got together after he came back from Chicago with his sister, a broody teenager. Maisie works wonders on Iris by letting her work at the animal shelter. Jack still doesn't feel comfortable with his half-siblings but they continue to show him that they care for him. I liked the way the story is written and I can't wait for Lee's story. Joy Nash brings all the characters to life for me.

Sweet HEA!

The quirky cast of characters are back at it in book 3 of the Asheville Brewing series! A.R. Casella & Denise Grover Swank have co-authored another hit romcom! Full of Buchanan family drama and Asheville goofiness, Getting Lucky is a wonderful story following Maisie and Jack. Jack is settling into his co-ownership role at the brewery as well as his guardianship role with his sister. Maisie works diligently to rescue and find forever homes for animals at her shelter while learning how to move on from her past and embrace the present to build a brighter future. Will they make time to open their eyes and hearts to romance? The shenanigans of this small town continue is this hilarious chapter of the Asheville Brewing series. While these books can be read as stand-alone novels, I recommend reading the series in order.

Joy Nash did an amazing job in her solo performance of Getting Lucky! Her range of voices is impressive and hilarious!
