Learning a new language is not easy, and it can be quite boring and tiring if you don't have the right tools to learn it. This is also why many people choose to travel and dive directly in the place, but it is not such a simple solution for everyone. You will be the judge, as you surely know there are several books similar to this one for learning German, but they are not really optimal or suitable for beginners for different reasons: complicated terms are used, they have too long stories with no parallel text in English, lack of vocabulary, grammatical errors, lack of techniques and suggestions, and other carelessness issues that you will not find in this book.

Good resource

Love these stories. They are pretty much the way people really speak. Just the right length. The vocabulary at the end is very helpful.

Quick and Entertaning way to Learn German

"First off, I'd say you still need to have a good grasp of German, because it's not for complete beginners who don't know any words in German. Probably more for the Level 2 to 3 beginner to intermediate.

Appreciate it

I enjoyed reading the stories in this book. I was born in Germany, but being young and coming to America with my family, I lost my German. But I can still read and understand most of the language. This helps me keep current.

if you would like to learn German you should really have this book, it has all the basics that you need!! you can definitely save some money in beginner classes , read this book put some time into it and you will see results, the way its structured makes it very easy for you to understand, Great Job !!! Very helpful, highly recommended

It is very easy to understand and I find it as a great way how to extend vocabulary and also improve a fluency just by listening to it daily. Highly recommend for anyone who learns German.

Effective

These are basically beginning short stories for those wanting to be able to read German fluently. They're quite short, rather odd, but keep your interest. I would arrange the book slightly differently but it works.

Great book for learning German. Stories are easy enough to follow and key vocabulary is repeated throughout the text which helps towards learning it.. Would highly recommend it.

Rekindled my love for German

I forgot how much I love German. It's been a while since went over my German knowledge. I still remember a ton and this was a nice refresher that proved how beautiful the language is. Definitely helps when the narrator is calm and enthusiastic at just the right moments throughout the stories. Cool idea!
