Totally in love with this story. Nothing says I'm a good man than one that stays with you when you re sick. Once again, the chemistry between Cris and Graham is fantastic. Loved every second!

Emotional book!

I really enjoyed this audiobook, the second in the Cold Fury hockey series! The hero, Garrett, is a womanizing player who never dates and only 'hooks up' for the night-never the same girl twice. He had quite a reputation in that he's kind of a manwhore about town. He meets the heroine, Olivia, at a postgame party and hits on her and gets turned down. Unused to this he becomes intrigued by her and he finds out she is Alex's wife Sutton's (book 1) cousin and declared off limits by them. The next day Garrett goes to her workplace to invite her out again and she finally says yes. However, she is keeping a huge thing secret and decides to be with him as a one time thing- as sort of living life to its fullest. The one night becomes many and they fall in love, much to the astonishment of the team. Then Olivia's secret becomes hard to hide and Garrett finds out. She decides that not being together is what's best for him. He has to convince her they belong together. I liked the epilogue very much!

Hot hockey player

Good read and tear jerker storylines. Likable characters. Fun and easy read. Awesome book hard to put down.

A nonstop listen with a book hangover

Garrett is the main character in book two of the Cold Fury series, but this can be totally read as a stand alone. The Carolina Cold Fury is a hockey team and each book in this series is a different team member. While several players are in each book being a team, the author does a great job in not leaving you confused or lost on what is going on.
Garrett believes in living his life to the fullest and is loving his life, or so he thought until he sees Olivia at a party. He is warned to stay away from her as she is so not his type but he can’t seem to help himself and wants nothing more than to spend time with her.
Olivia doesn’t have time for Garrett or anyone else, but, thanks to her bff, she agrees to go out with Garrett, the guy who doesn’t do relationships, for a night of fun. Olivia isn't interested in a relationship since there is no guarantee in life and her health is on shaky ground.
The author does not disappoint and will keep you glued until the very end and then left with a book hangover. The narrators did an awesome job in telling Garrett and Olivia’s story and combined with the writing you really felt like you were a part of this story. It was such a difficult book to put down that I listened to it basically in one day. When I should have been doing other things, I couldn’t because this story had me so drawn in.
On the surface everyone sees Garrett as the playboy and he has no issues with this, but on the inside there is so much more to him and Olivia is able to bring that out. Of course, there are plenty of times he has you ticked off at some of his actions but most of the time you are loving his actions. Olivia is a strong female character yet shows her vulnerable side and I just love her bff and the added laughs. You will be on an emotional ride with this story and the narrating duo are driving. Let’s not forget about the surprises that just add to this non-stop story. I can not wait to dive into the next one as we get a glimpse of Zack and he is already leaving you heartbroken.

worth the money. very rarely do I finish a book but have finished all in this series. worth the money and time

What can I say... other than I LOVED Garrett and Olivia's story! The narration was fabulous, too. I'm looking forward to reading Zack's story next. Definitely worth the credit.

Loved it till the Epilogue

The story was great and I really enjoyed it till I got to the Epilogue and it just wasn’t what I expected.
