The Jupiter moon Ganymede gets knocked out of it's orbit around Jupiter and settles into an orbit on the other side of the sun from earth. The race is on to colonize this mini earth, since it was an ice moon whose ice has melted and turned to oceans. But there are already inhabitants on this new planet in the oceans. Inhabitants who see any earthling intruders as a new meal. These same inhabitants are learning they can live out of the water as well as in it. A war breaks out over which country on earth will dominate this new planet. The war is carried out between earthlings and the inhabitants. Who will survive this war? Colonel Renee Bustamante, Commander Stephani Burton, and Major Bob Dodson are part of the American/ Chinese team trying to establish a permanent base on Ganymede.
