Love hearing a world of powerful black women without that being the main point

Loved the story and characters. The actress reading the story helped me visualize actual divas and powerful women. Great story telling

Best part is the END.

It was a smooth listen, although the story didnt really pick up until the end.

It was ok

I have to be honest to say I liked the story, just not all of it. It didn't catch my attention until the last 2 hours of the book. The beginning was a lot of details I didn't care to know. I know it was the same narrator for all three characters but when she did Layla's voice I was so annoyed. I was distracted several times which isn't normal for me when I'm listening to a good book. I wouldn't recommend it but everyone has different opinions.

Pleasantly Surprised

This is the first time I listened to a book by this author and the first time I heard the narrator. I was very skeptical but pleasantly surprised. The story had a great plot, characters that were developed, and drama! I think you should give it a listen. You wont be disappointed.

Good listen

Only thing that really got on my nerves is having to give the name of every item that they are wearing. Please just say I'm putting on my tennis shoes or pink sweater . Who cares about what the name brand is!!!

A whole Lotta drama but kept me listening

Even though I felt like I was listening to an episode of basketball wives the storyline was still enjoyable. The only thing I didn't like is all the name dropping of every piece of clothing and piece of jewelry and everything else the story would probably be half as long without all the name dropping. I didn't know many of the designers anyway so most of it was lost on me. I did like the various voices it made it more interesting to listen to. The end and left me kind of shaking my head but OK

Great book!

I really love how the book went into the point of view of three different women. There were times I was happy right along with the characters. Then there was other times I couldn't help but to be irritated with them. It was an awesome read and I hope the author writes more drama-filled crime novels.

Sooo Good

I was skeptical about purchasing this book thinking it would be about ratchet women who I could not relate to or even like, but I was so wrong. This book was classy, had drama and the characters were likable and strong women.

Very nicely read perfect combination of mystery romance and drama wrap up into a wonderful story I would recommend this book
