When a failing TV network agrees to air an unconventional new game show, the best horse trainers in the country gather in beautiful Pronghorn Ridge, Colorado to compete in a one-of-a-kind mustang makeover. Earning a spot as one of six elite contestants on Taming the American Icon is a dream come true for 17-year-old Brielle Allen, who envisioned a future as an equestrian for as long as she could remember. When she starts her attempts to gentle her first mustang on national television, however, Brielle initially feels like an imposter working alongside the five other trainers- until everything starts to unravel in more ways than one, leaving all of the contestants reeling in the aftermath. As Brielle tries to sort it all out, she finds support in unexpected places as she makes a monumental decision that no one saw coming -- not that she can tell anyone about it, anyway...
