My Thoughts on Game of Love

What seemed like a pairing of two very unlikely people made for a sweet and steamy romance. I loved Dex from beginning to end. He was an amazing friend, boss, son and ultimately match for Ellie. I was saddened by everything Ellie went through in her past, even most recently. But I loved the connection it established between her and Dex.

This was a great kick off to what I expect will be a fantastic series. The experience of listening and reading at the same time was perfect. The narrator did a good job of giving each character a new voice and did a really good job with both male and female voices.

I look forward to reading and listening to many more stories by this author.

Little darker then most of Melissa s books

Dex Remington has been Ellie Parker's safe place since they were kids. To this day he still leaves his window open for her. Ellie grew up in foster care and lots of insecurities. With Dex's help she is able to trust and be loved the way she deserves to be. Melissa Foster gets better and better with each book. BJ Harrison did another amazing job with the narration.

Love Game of Love

This was a great story. I loved the characters. They reminded me of friends of my past. BJ Harrison narrates again and does a great job with New York accents. He made the story enjoyable to listen to.

Game of Love!

This was my first Melissa Foster's book. I love it! This is a good second chance love story. I love the two main characters Dex and Elie. Dex is amazing! I was hooked by this book from the first page until the end. I already like The Remington family and can't wait to listen to the next book in this Series. This was my first listen to B.J. Harrison and the narration was very great. I'm looking forward for more stories by this author. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Game On

Love how Dex "levels up" from best friend/protector to one true love for Ellie! These two kids go from growing up as friends with a sudden departure to Ellie coming home to where her heart and fate always knew she belonged!
Always Love Melissa's books! They are a great go to for getting you out a funk!!!

Dex & Ellie- Second Time around

Dex was Ellie's first love. No other woman came close to his feelings for Ellie. Ellie was in the foster care system. One day she was there, the next she was whisked off to another family. Move forward many years, Ellie is a school teacher who finds out her boyfriend is married so yet more heart ache for her. Dex is a rich game developer who has an ache in his heart for Ellie but built high walls around his heart. They run into each other in NY but this time Dex vows to keep Ellie by his side and not let her disappear into the night again.

I did enjoy the narrator of the book. I found my attention was held through out the entire book.Great job by Melissa Foster again (my favorite author) and B.J. Harrison for great narration!

Game of Love

Dex and Ellie's story started when they were kids. When Ellie as moved to a new foster family as a kid, Dex thought he'd never see her again. Several years later, she looked Dex up while she was in New York and they spent the weekend together. Dex thought he'd finally get his forever with Ellie, so when she left without saying goodbye, Dex was crushed. When she resurfaced four years later, Dex wants his forever with Ellie, but can he trust her not to run away again. Ellie is determined to show Dex she's working on her issues so she can have her happily ever after with the man she's always loved.

This is truly a wonderful story of love, trust and commitment.

Best of Friends to Intense Lovers

WOW! Dexy & Ellie...What an awesome story of friends to lovers! They are the best! And who better than Melissa & BJ to bring it to you!

Ellie was in foster care throughout her life. She met Dex while she was living through the worst home. Dex helped her deal with life as a young teen. While Dex helped Ellie, she also helped him deal with the awkwardness of his own teen years.

But Ellie hurt Dex. After years of secretly loving her, he tells her and then she disappears from his life. For 4 years, he worked and got through the lose of losing Ellis in his life, only to bump into her at his favorite bar in NYC. It was again kismet because while she had a place set up to stay, nothing was turning out right. Again, she ends up at Dex's place. They very soon realize that their feelings for each other havent faded, but now that they are living together, they intensify.

It takes time and working through old pains to get to the point where they can move forward with a life together. But, after a trip down memory lane, and a run-in with an Ex, Dex and Ellie are finally able to move ahead.

Listening to this book after reading it twice still gave it a whole new feeling. Thank you, again, BJ Harrison for another great narration!

Audio books are so great for people with an very busy life and who love to read. I loved how the characters reconnected and how the story comes to life while you listen.
