Publisher's Summary

The Messenger rocked your world, and now she's back. But have her lies finally caught up with her?

Trust doesn't come easy for Kesh Lasota. She survived life as a slave, survived the Dreamweaver's touch, but surviving Marshal Kellee and the mysterious Talen is a whole other game, one she's not sure she's ready for.

When the three are captured by a bloodthirsty fae general sweeping through the last of Halow's human colonies, the only weapons they have left are lies. And so Kesh must pretend to be the gladiator they all expect, while Kellee is forced to fight against her, and Talen is... Well, just who is Talen when he can command soldiers with a glance and move among the fae elite as though he belongs?

Trust doesn't come easy for Kesh Lasota, neither does love. She must survive both, or everything she's fought for will be lost forever, including her men. The enchanting & mind-blowing Messenger series continues with more action, more romance, and more exciting twists!

Please note: The Messenger Chronicles is a slow burn reverse harem. The reverse harem elements develop during the series.

Soundbooth Theater continues Pippa DaCosta's tantalizing paranormal sci-fantasy. Annie Ellicott reprises her role as the mysterious Kesh Lasota, as we discover more about her origins with the Fae, and uncover her frigthening power. With Jeff Hays returning as Kellee, Talen, and a growing cast of brooding fae, Annie continues to delve into Kesh's psyche, and reveal her true nature.

I loved it!

These two Audiobooks in this series are two of the best I have ever heard, and I listen to a lot of them. The narrators are beyond brilliant. The way their emotions play off each other is raw and powerful. Then there are the added sound effects that only enhance the story. It is extraordinary the lengths this team has gone to. Why all audiobooks aren’t done like this, is beyond me, because this should be the standard.

Game of Lies is full of more intrigue, danger, action, and scandal. Kesh is so multifaceted, a killer who wants to be loved but does not know how to go about finding it. She is also on a quest to help the humans fight the Fae, but her companions don’t trust her and for a good reason.

I loved the second installment as much as the first. The only disappointment I have is the 3rd book isn’t out in Audiobook yet, and I don’t know if I can wait for it. I need to continue with this tale.

I am rating Game of Lies: A Paranormal Space Fantasy: Messenger Chronicles, Book 2 5 Boundless Stars, so far it has been a crazy journey.

Love this series

I love this series. The narration is performed by members of Sound Booth Theater, one of the best narration companies around in my opinion. Definitely recommended.

The first book was better

The first book was decent, a good read. This one was a bit of a let-down, its okay but definitely lower-quality story than the first one. The narration was awesome from Annie Ellicott and Jeff Hayes thay are the shining stars, in my opinion, I'll get almost anything they produce!
