Publisher's summary

Galaxy's Edge, Part IV contains Turning Point through to the end of Message for the Dead.

Fight to win. Survive the future.

With the galaxy in turmoil, the Legion initiates Article Nineteen, a hard reset designed to halt the corruption and ineptitude that continues to spill forth from the Galactic Core. But when the House of Reason aligns itself with the bloodthirsty zhee extremists, the Legion has no choice but to commit to a savage campaign of Total War.

As Legion Commander Keller attempts to coax the Republic and Black Fleet into a winner-take-all battle at the heart of the Galactic Core, Wraith uncovers secrets from Tyrus Rechs’s past. Determined to liberate his crew from the clutches of a dormant fleet controlled by a hostile AI, the soldier-turned-rogue comes face to face with the galaxy’s greatest threat.

Meanwhile, Captain Chhun and Victory Squad follow intelligence that could land a powerful blow against Goth Sullus and his fledgling empire, and Exo and Wraith, in an tenuous alliance, move toward a slumbering fleet that could permanently alter the delicate balance of power among Legion, Republic, and Empire - or could just as easily eradicate the galaxy altogether.

Chhun and Kill Team Victory find themselves taking on new roles inside the Legion, and the fight for control of the Galactic Republic hits its zenith with the arrival of the malevolent Cybar.

Fantastic Sci Fi Series

A biased review by a fan of the series! While I have the occasional issue with the story, the great outweighs the few issues I do have, the story is well paced with top notch action/battles. RC Bray is exceptional. If a fan of the series, you’ll enjoy!!

Decent action destroyed by political rants

the story is decent, the political allegories and commentary not so much. The alien terrorists are a wild caricature of Islam, the whole book takes a break from fun action to rant about social justice, and instead of just not talking about it the author explicitly says several time that women don't belong in the military because it's a disaster. I really tried to like these, clearly because I ended up on book for, although they were on a steep sale that seemed worth it. if you feel like the solution to racial or species equality is a military coup to reverse all that dumb shit then you probably won't be as irritated as I get listening to the strange tangents about if the military just took over the government everything would be better. clearly this is set in a fantasy world where everyone conforms to the author's stereotypes, but the commentary is not disguised or ambiguous whatsoever, including the authors believe women shouldn't hold seemingly any positions of power in combat, support, or politics. there are none, like not one.

TL DR it's a standard military action book with strange inclusions of how equality, social justice, and civilian run governments destroy everything the incredible and morally perfect millitary tries to build.

You are in the story!!!!

I can’t get enough of this story. R. C. Bray reads it like a movie in your head. I’m addicted to the characters and the amazing difference in each one. Not to mention the way that Jason Anspach and Nick Cole wrote the story. EPIC!!!!! That’s all that comes to mind when I listen to the details given to you in a flash yet the perfect amount of detail to keep the story going and give you a HD Movie in your head at the same time. I WANT MORE!!!!

Another great book, brilliant

RC Bray is the 1% of the 1% of the 1%.

There is no other book on Audible like this right now, n any other book trying to what this book does need to
"Abandon all hope, hope, hope, ......."
if it's not as good as this book.

Best yet

Best one yet. The authors writing and storytelling have matured throughout the series - and this is the best yet.

I couldn't stop listening

I have hundreds of books and thousands of listening hours, and I've gotta say, this series is probably my favorite of them all. It's definitely military scifi, but it's got all of the right elements of character development, world building, and twisting turns that will keep it a must listen for everyone that enjoys a solid story that you can really get into.

Can’t Support the Message

I was really excited about the first book in the series, but I’ve enjoyed this series less as it developed a jingoistic overtone rather than develop a complex universe. I draw the line at supporting a book and authors that dogmatically glorify a violent military coup of democratic government at the same time calling for genocide of a shallow stereotype of Muslim culture. I’m returning the book because I won’t support the messaging.

They just keep getting better and better

This is hands down, the best science fictions series I've ever read. I hate that it seems to be coming to an end

Gut Wrenching, Real, Engrossing.

So well written. Awesomely performed. The level of detail doesn't just bring you in, but envelopes you and makes you feel a part of it.
Cannot wait for the rest!
