It’s sweet

Love box sets! First time read for me with this author and it was a nice surprise. The characters are developed and genuinely relatable people. The plot/suspense elements are good but by the third book it gets a little repetitive... like again.. why can you only rescue one person at a time/book... and if the guys have been doing this for years... why aren’t they better/smarter at it. I will purchase more form this author but will space it out... like when I need a simple uplifting romance.

Three in one

This is a fabulous series and to have the first three in the series all in one spot is wonderful!

We meet Harper, Regan, and Rory of Earth and once they've been abducted by aliens through a wormhole, we also see the gladiators of the House of Galen upon their rescues. Mmmm. Think Stargate, a little K & R, mixed with the Coliseum games of Rome.

Love. Great stories, characters, and chemistry.

Infuriating

The first story was quite good until it seemed like Harper wanting to go after her friend was more important than Raydon’s needs; and continued to make his need seem less than; to the point of apologizing to her; for what! Raydon needs to find someone worthy; Harper was more like a spoiled needy brat…it’s all about me! Regan in the second book is also a pain in the butt; makes me cringe with some of the absolutely dumb stuff she does; if I didn't like the gladiators so much, this series would be a rap; Thoron could do so much better than your air-headedness.

Good Start

Admittedly, I like Ms Hackett’s other sci-fi series a little bit better, she does not disappoint with this series so far. Generally, I prefer more storyline and fewer sex scenes but that would be my only complaint. Having said that, however, there is a good storyline with this series. Ms. Leheny, as usual, did an excellent job with the narration. She doesn’t read the story, she performs it.

Great fun

Anna Hackett has an amazing way of writing that makes it really easy to suspend disbelief for sci-fi romance. All her stories have women who can be vulnerable but are strong in different ways. There a believable level of “oh crap” and then there’s a slow escalation of moving forward that’s realistic. The pace is fast, the fights are sometimes even fun and the men as awesome in very different ways. There are sex scenes but very timely. All in all, I’d read anything she writes!

Fantastic story line, interesting characters.

Anna Hackett creates a fascinating world. Her characters are developed well, and truly engaging. The environment is easy to imagine, with controversy and developments that flow through to each book. Romance and Heroism.

great start

The first three books are great start that are definitely gonna suck you in. Hi if this is your genre of books as it is mine I doubt you’ll make it through all three before you’re buying the fourth book. It is candy for the years the performance was excellent as was the writing in my opinion. Enjoy them

Strong women, alpha warriors, so much fun

I first read the books and then when this set came up for sale, I had to get it. And it was great reliving the stories via audiobook. The women are all strong- whether of body or mind (in all cases, both) but the point is that they contribute to the relationship and although they are "saved" by the gladiators after being abducted from a space station near earth, they provide a lot of support and strength through the relationships. The books are a bit formulaic in that the hero and heroine find themselves in a quandary they need to get out of but there is so much action I don't mind.

Vivienne Leheny does a great job with the narration and playing multiple characters. I enjoyed her telling of the story.

BOOK 1 GLADIATOR REVIEW........
I'm a big fan of Ms. Hackett's books and this book is just another in her line of great stories. I loved it. Great characters, action, adventure and romance all rolled up into a wonderful new series. I highly recommend this and all of Ms. Hackett's books.

BOOK 2 WARRIOR REVIEW........
Love this series. Love the characters and the stories. These are the coolest characters I've read in a long time. I love the Gladiators. Thorin sounds strong and sexy yummy. I am so looking forward to more in this series.

BOOK 3 HERO REVIEW...........
This series is really good. I love the Gladiators. It's great how strong and tough they are yet so tender and caring also. Great characters. I highly recommend this book and series.

NARRATOR REVIEW......
The narrator did a god job with the characters. Some of the voices could've used tweaked just a little though.

It was ok

Some bits were good, some bits a bit meh. Overall it was an easy listen and decent value to get three books for 1 credit. I’d probably get more in the series if they sold other book bundles, but wouldn’t be tempted enough to buy the books individually, though.

Excellent

This boxset of Galactic Gladiators contains book one Gladiator, book two Warrior and book three Hero. The first book is about space marine Harper Adams and Raiden Tiago they meet after Harper is abducted off a space station and finds herself in the Kor Magna Arena. She ends up with Raiden in the House Of Galen and sparks fly between the two and what follows is a steamy romance between a fierce space marine and a gritty, alpha male gladiator. The second book is about scientist Dr. Regan Forrest and Sirrush warrior Thorin and the sparks fly yet again only this time Thorin fights the attraction believing he is not good enough for Regan and breaking her heart in the process but, when she needs his help he will be there and maybe bringing about a chance for them. The third book is about Kace Tameron a disciplined, military-trained gladiator raised from birth to be a soldier and Rory Fraser an engineer on a space station circling Jupiter until she was kidnapped along with the others. The attraction between the two is undeniable but, Kace will have to fight his rigid control on his emotions if he is to have Rory if they can overcome this the results could be explosive and there is a surprise at the end of this book. These sci fi romances contain a lot of action (think wild gladiatorial fights and daring rescues), tough gladiators (the warriors of the House of Galen) and a steamy romance an undeniably addictive combination and I am now off to get the fourth book.

shut the front door!!!!

OMG! Anna Hackett your the bomb. I've been listening to military action romances but I like sci-fi and thought I'll give these a go seeing as I liked Ms Hackett's team 52.
book 1: awesome and a great start. heroes are just as they say they are gladiators, so you gotta like alphas and brute muscle or you'll screw your nose up.
heroines full of sass and skill is next in order, though the skill varies so it keeps you Intrigued as to what is coming in the next book.
after all same bunch of alphas, same human friends, same setting, same enemy...what is Ms Hackett going to come up with next.
book 2: a sci fi take on beauty and the beast....great story, suspense and introduction to more characters.
book 3: heroine is awesome, gladiator is a 'pretty boy' but story had to delve deep to get this one right, perhaps a bit light considering the heroes ancestry but, hey, it's sci-fi, I'll forge on. again great intro to new characters. and a nice little twist.....
the other books are rather short in hours for the dollars I'd pay but I can't resist....I'm hanging out for galens story but by crickey it's the last bloody book!!
well done Anna Hackett, awesome stories, imagination, descriptive writing and steam!!
THE narrator....Ms Leheny....you are amazing. I love your tone and inflections not to mention your different voices for these characters. after this you have ruined me for other solo narrator's. I have to find other books and hopefully they are good enough for me to buy and listen to you.
