Set in a science-fiction setting with elements of twisted horror, Future Winds is a strange yet wondrous tale of species, self-preservation, and the all-out moral cost of survival. Forced to leave Earth, humanity discovers a planet capable of supporting life and hatches an audacious plan that will warp them across the universe to settle and begin anew. There is a darkness that resides below the planet's surface, but with no option to turn back, humanity must find a way forward.

The Good: I really liked the character development, would love to get to know some of the characters more - both the native planet characters and the human colonists. The overall story had a lot of potential.
The Bad: it felt rushed and should have been a trilogy or more. Ever watch a movie or have someone tell you a book summary from a high level and you can tell it should be great, but all the beauty was left in the mind of the director or story teller? That is this book. I can tell the author had an amazing world and story in his mind, it just fell flat. The story builds up lots of interesting plot lines that just go away. I understand the overall messages, key points, an impact to the message, etc I just felt there was too many pieces built up that have little reason to be there other than filler.
Disappointing/Rushed

Would you consider the audio edition of Future Winds to be better than the print version?

Aisha because she's a badass!Have you listened to any of Tia Sorensen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not, but I am interested. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The ending was pretty fantastic!Any additional comments?
I've got no more words. Just going to patiently wait for the sequel!I can't wait for the sequel!
