Publisher's summary

Two thousand years in the future. The world is a wasteland, but the women are still gorgeous.

Jack Bowman is out of luck and out of money. That is, until he gets an offer to be a part of an experiment for a major scientific research company. All he has to do is get cryogenically frozen for a few years and he'll be rich. What could go wrong?

Quite a bit, as it turns out.

When Jack's pod splits open and he's met by two beautiful women, he's introduced to a very different world from the one he left behind. There are warring tribes, mutated animals, actual monsters, and even ogres. With so many threats, how can anyone hope to survive?

Lucky for Jack, being frozen was only half the experiment. The other part is swimming around his bloodstream, and it's turning him into something more than human.

Warning: This story contains adult situations, coarse language, and other fun things. Listen at your own risk.

Ok scifi

a scfi with adult content that has many assumptions and plot holes, but somehow kept me interested until the end.

Pretty good

My only gripe is that the MC makes dumb choices sometimes. Not drastically stupid choices - just the ones that get the reader thinking:
"But you could have just ..."

Narrator is fantastic once I got used to his voice, and the changes they make in voices for each unique character is fantastic.

Overall story is great. It's significantly more story developement than smut, too, which is nice.

One of the best dystopian books I've ever read

This was a creative and fun ride. I've always been a huge dystopian fan, but most stories tend to blend together or feel the same. Not this one. It's like Fallout, but with a better story and a more interesting world. The lead character is an ex-marine, so I instantly related, but he also has a good heart and wants to do right by his friends. When he wakes up in the future, he has to navigate a completely foreign (yet still familiar) world. It's almost like stepping into a twisted fantasy world in many ways. He has to figure out what happened to the planet while he was asleep, all while trying to survive and keep his new friends alive. I can't recommend this one enough. The sequel just released so I hope the audio for it comes out soon!

better then I expected

having read other post apocalyptic harem novels I was not expecting much. honestly this was a welcome surprise and I hope that they continue the series. the Mc is a bit of a dumbass but a likeable one and there is a strong supporting cast.

A really good audio book.

This is a really good audio book with great story, characters, and narrator. Fast paced, plenty of action, and appropriate sexual situations without being ridiculous or too explicit. Some vulgar language but not too bad.

I really liked these characters. Definitely people I wouldn't mind being with if faced with the same situation.

okay

Future reborn is a really fun first draft of a novel with a promising concept. I say first draft because unfortunately this book really could have done with a bit more development.

The main structure was there and the concept grabbed me from the start, but a lot of the story elements needed fleshing out. Whether it was characters who were a little one-dimensional, relationships (not just romantic) between characters that grow with very little or no prior interactions, deep emotional moments that weren't given enough time or focus to be fully realised, or... well I could keep going if I'm honest. I'd rather save it and just say that I did enjoy this book, there's a lot of promise there, but I'd have enjoyed it more if the author went back and did a couple more passes to expand a bit in this story.

Excellent

An unusual story. Very well balanced between action romance sci-fi and dialogue. Not your usual boring stuff.
