Fury: The Awakening

This was a thoroughly enjoyable listen! A time travel/time jump style story that doesn’t make you think too much about it (no butterfly effect conundrums to worry or think too much about).
Our main heroine becomes a bit of a minor hero due to some unknown ability from a house she purchases (or so we are made to think ..... I’m wondering if that might change in a book 2? Just a personal theory)

Small nitpick about the narrator. I liked listening to her voice, but I think that her lack of inflection in all of her male voices may have changed the way I understood the story. Whether the characters were “good guys” or “bad guys” they all sounded EXACTLY monotonously the same.
Stephanie’s (our heroine) love interest had me suspicious that he may have been one of the “bad guys” she was trying to catch- right up until they declared their “feelings”...... so confusing lol

If a book 2 comes out, I’ll get it! :)

How could I summit up in one sentence.

This book can be put into many genres Syfy, Romance, action adventure and just plain fiction. It is so good and have something to offer everyone. What would you do if you could go back and right wrongs would you do it… Well Stephanie did, but unfortunately she eventually bring something evil home with her and it causes her to lose everything. This book is so good I know I said that the narrator has such a great voice I love it I dare say she is my favorite narrator. She is a combination of professional and friendly I think she has the perfectvoice boy but now reading books. This book would be good for anyone who likes time travel writing wrongs adventure and romance there’s something for everyone in this book and it have been the perfect narrator doesn’t hurt. I’m so glad there was a book to as I would go crazy waiting for it! I gave it five stars because that is the highest you can give

WOW!

I loved this book!!!!! And I'm ready to buy the next in the series...what is going to happen!?!?!? I felt the Dean Koontz influence and I know he would enjoy this story as much as I did...My only critique is the reader...She had this slow cadence that almost changed the intensity of the story....She read ok but sometimes the action required a little more passion....Kudos to the Author...R.E. Sargent for this wonderful tale!! Janet Sterling Phillips.....

imaginations abound

Steph is not a good judge of character as witnessed by her two previous failed relationships. She also lacks integrity, because she lied and went against the agreement she had with the seller of the house!!!??? Super hero Steph was above my pay grade and my imaginings. I couldn't suspend that much belief to buy all the goings on. I did enjoy the fantasy. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

If you can go back in time and right wrongs with you?

This book is about a woman who has some unfortunate events. Decides to move on in life and buy a house that she stumbles upon. When she builds the house she discovered she has some unusual powers to be able to change wrongs to rights.

Character development in this book is great keep me on my toes while listening.

This book does not disappoint with action thriller and heroin

The second time was as good as the first!

This is a terrific story that I previously read as a hard copy. The twists and turns will keep you entertained right up to the climax!

As an audio book I found it equally entertaining as the performer brought nuances to her reading that were different from my own interpretations.

Can't wait for the next installment!

Not what I expected

The title does not do this book justice.
Stephanie discovers a mysterious power giving her the opportunity to change things from the past before they happen.
One must remember that you cant change the past in hopes of changing your own future. Stephanie did change/prevent a few disaterous events but in the end she lost a lot and gained one thing she wanted.
Wonderfully written and narrated.
I received this book free for an honest review from the author or narrator.

Loved it

You had me at old abandoned house. Loved this book and the concept of Stephanie traveling back and forth through time to right many wrongs. Several twist and turns I didn’t see coming. It does end on a cliff otherwise I would have rated 5 stars. Can’t wait for the next book. Daniela’s narration was perfect

Clever

I liked seeing the main protagonist take a crushing blow, the worst betrayal, and push to live on. It was enjoyable to see how she secured and remodeled the gem of an abandoned home she found. It was even more enjoyable to discover the house's secrets and the purpose it brought to Stephanie's life. The time travel element was with a unique twist I enjoyed.

This story is not without some plot holes but is enjoyable. Nice weaving of a story w/ a constant ramping up of tension and anxiety. I also enjoyed the narration by the talented Daniela Acitelli. I'd be interested in the next book in the series.

Very good

I found this audiobook to be very good listen. It has a combination of suspense, secrets, and drama.
I found the narration to be fair. Would have liked a little more emotion to it.
