Apostle Paul was more than a teacher; he was a fighter of the faith.

After reading this book, you will have a fuller picture of Apostle Paul—his heart, his mind, and his faith. You also will be able to apply his teachings into your faith walk.

Furious by Daniel Kolenda brings Paul's letter to the Galatians to life through a vivid dialogue between the Apostle Paul and his scribe, Tertius. This immersive retelling explores Paul's writing verse by verse, blending theological depth, historical context, and raw emotion.

Accessible to scholars and everyday believers, Furious reveals Paul's heart as he combats legalism and defends the gospel's purity. Throughout this book, you will witness:

  • Paul's passionate defense of salvation by faith and freedom in Christ
  • Tertius' questions that will deepen your spiritual understanding

Kolenda's narrative transforms this biblical epistle into a personal and transformative journey, making its timeless truths powerfully relevant today.

As a fairly new Christian, this story really captured my heart! I loved the sincerity of actors/narators and the additional sound affects that made the telling of Paul's writing to the Gallatians come to life. It also answered some questions that I had as I am studying the Bible.

Kolenda is a brilliant guy. He does something in Furious that I have never heard of. He attempts to capture the historical context and humanity that is packed into Paul's letter to the Galatians by dramatizing the composition of the epistle. He ofters commentary on the Biblical text via theoretical dialogue between Paul and his scribe. It is a refreshingly unique perspective on biblical commentary that sheds light on the internal convictions and motives of Paul based on the historical/cultural context from the book of Acts and first century Greco-Roman history. As you read this book (or listen to it. Which includes soothing cultural music, imaginative sound effects, and skilled voice actors) you "meet" Paul. Not so much the venerated apostle or esteemed Saint, but Paul the human being. The man who loved the gospel with abandon and also hated those who opposed or twisted it: this is Paul the author of the Furious gospel.
